This freaking game is going to hell!!! I just read the patch notes, I don't mind all the damage mods and non stackable items but now they are adding all 4 Heavy Drone BP's to the market amongst other stuff. Why not just delete the market and trade channel and hand out BP's to everyone in the game? No one is going to be able to make a sale soon, there is no point to even playing the game anymore. What am I supposed to do? mine a bunch of minerals and make stuff to sit in my bay? This game is getting way out of hand. CCP's gotta stop this crap!! Small Corps like mine (20 members) can't compete with the larger Corps making ships, we don't have enough people to fulfill minerals orders, I made over 10 mill in a 4 hour day selling drones. Now I'm gonna have nothing. This isn't just me I'm complaining about. I know a few others going to quit the game because of some other changes they've made. See ya if I get online again.

Redge,
CCP recently made labs kick out all BP's to prevent people making hundreds of "infinite" strength bpc's.
Heavy drone BP's are in such abundance because of those copies that I doubt introducing them onto the market will unhinge the market dynamics.

Will it matter with tech 2 coming soon(ish)?
I read somewhere tech1 items are meant to be things most people can produce, but tech2 will require more specilised skills, and items/minerals which will hopefully restrict the number of people who can produce them, or limit the amout being produced, who knows.

I really wish they would kill the trade channel. It's the worst thing for the market ever.
And my corp is small. A whole 11 members. Yet we can gather the minerals for Tempest manufacturing. And we try to avoid mining whenever possible.
I'd suggest using the market instead of the trade channel. If you're making 10m off drone sales per day, then you're making more than enough to cover buying the minerals/ores from local miners.

Tekra is correct. If you've ever read the csm chats or dev blog, you'd know this. Besides the changes in equipment and ships lets people not get in a rut. They'll need to change their setup to become more effective. If you want to have a game stay the same from release it'l be a long time coming. All games change, it's part of life. Stop *****ing, and deal with the changes. And why would a 20 player corp be able to compete with a corp that's 3 times it's size? They'll have more people, more hours of play than you. Get a grip on reality.

It sounds like greed is getting the better of him. A large corporation with a devoted mining division cannot be beaten head on. They can and always will outproduce smaller corporations. The way smaller corporations have a chance is through better accounting and hiring others to do the work. Buy orders for minerals. Steady production deals with other corporations. Steady mineral deals with smaller miner corps.

That's good isk but don't you think you were going to get bored of that sooner or later no matter how lucrative it was for you?
While I can sympathise with you on what I imagine might have been a serious BP investment you shouldn't put all of your eggs into one basket, something was going to change sooner or later. I guess you can either run away crying or be smart and find something else to sell that makes you good isk, I'll bet you get over this and choose the latter :)

I went yesterday on market channel and there was over 400 people there all spamming long lines of their advertisement.
After a few minutes there I gave up trying to find out info on few things i needed.
I think that its good thing that new BPs are added to market as people will not need to be toruted by all the spam on market channel and will be able to build stuff themselves.
As you said you made 10 mill in 4 hours.
I never had that much isk and have been playing since beta.
You have to understand that what you had is oprtunity to raise capital that should have been invested into another, bigger project.
Instead of that you have decided to milk it out.
Now, milk is gone and you start whining.
This is very dynamic game and nobody should try to live from something in the past and from old glory.
Univers changes and so do people and if you are left behind its nobody's fault but yours.

Can I have your stuff?
If heavy drone bps will be available on the market, then heavy drones should be listable on the market as well. You can make more in the long run on volume from selling on the market at lower competitive prices with less effort and no lost opportunity cost of doing something else, than spamming the stupid trade channel or flying around as a traveling salesman.
The market is such a great tool, one of the best aspects of this game. I wish CCP would code all items to be listable on the market including pirate loot.
The cost of blueprints and the training time to raise all the associated manufacturing skills will still be prohibitive enough to keep competition low.
The solution to manufacturing woes is to nerf the bp copying ability completely.

WHY oh why would a small corp make money as fast as a large corp? Even the thought is just so lame.
Why would I be able to beat Coca Cola if I started a soft drink company with my friends tomorrow? It simply doesn't work like that.

Possibly you didn't mean that the way you wrote it but I want to pick you up on that one word "Good"... IMO, a good corp isn't necessarily one that's big and makes lots of isk, a good corp is one that you (in RL) enjoy being a part of and one that gives you an enjoyable gameplay experience.

Actually part of it is making copying what it was meant to be: A backup copy used for remote offices, manufacturing, or selling your research skills.
For that to happen, CCP needs to reinstitute the old system. 2 unlimited copies per original. Then the copies would have value to real manufacturers as a way to setup an office in Curse, for example, without risking their original Battleship bp to pirates. Blueprint copiers would still have their market but be severely restricted to how much they could do. 2 copies, then they'd have to buy another original and research it to sell more copies.

That would work Jash.
As it stands right now, people either sell bp copies or they manufacture. The bp copy sellers make way too easy money for hardly any work and could give a damn about manufacturing since they are in direct conflict with producing manufactured items for profit.

The trade channel is too much trouble. It would be really nice to have an ingame classifieds where you can post adds under a set number of categories stating what you are selling, how many, what price and a limited addition notes.
Allow each character to post a limited number of free ads and charge for the rest at a good rate.
When the player sells something they can edit or delete their ad and post new ones.
This way you want to buy something you go look through the posts rather than waiting for someone to spam a link in the trade channel.
Extend the site and allow bidding for items in an auction and we're onto a winner. At least IMHO :)

Good point.
How much time do heavy drone BPs take copy?
All of the light/medium drones take only an hour or so per 1500-run copy. At least with missles, copy time is constant and not linked to class of missle. (All take 1h4min for me to copy, from light missle up to torpedo). So I'm guessing that the owners of heavy drone originals have been churning out 1 copy every hour too. The number of unlimited heavy drone copies is so great that I don't think we'll see the release of originals to the market make any difference. Same with the "copy nerf" not doing anything for existing ship markets - The damage was already done, and CCP never bothered to fix the underlying flaws in the market (lack of product differentiation within a tech level) instead. ------------ Ezra Cornell pe0n, Xanadu Corporation |

Gee.... now you know how ship builders felt after people flooded the market with infinite copies. Alot of big corps had infinite copies of heavydrones any ways. This is the least influncational change in this build and your whining about it. I really like them to release miner 2 bpÆs to corn hole the *****s making 20000% profit. Quit your whining!
