Orly? Last night was a poor testament to this declaration.

Sorry, but we were in your home. This after your illustrious diplo, Talo, kept telling me, "Come at me bro," in convo, among other gripes. Even Max was WTFing your corp's conduct... Anyway, this isn't the thread for face-saving.

So we opened up new static and it was our old friend LEAD FARMERS. We rocked up a 10 man subcap fleet with a triage archon and proper boosts. After giving them 15-20minutes to form up they brought 3 guardians + subcap support. They had several dreads unpiloted and/or unscouted at this point. We warped to the hole with our carrier at range to protect it from the legion neuts they were bound to bring. They refused to jump into us and as we were staged off the hole properly we didnt jump into them, exspecially with them having the potential to blap dread us to death. This was my first tactical mistake made in the fight. We should have been ready to jump into them provide an initial fight and be ready to extract the second blap dreads showed on the field. They stated that they could not jump into us with the fight.

They then swapped doctrines to 5 guardians, loki heavy plus a vigilant for 90% webs with a couple neut legions and only 2-3 DPS. Soon thereafter, our scout watched one of their dread pilots hop into a Moros with his subcap alt on the hole. Additionally, there were another three Moros, Naglfar, and a Revelation on d-scan, spread out between towers. It was pretty clear at this point that they'd be dread blapping with the ability to easily escalate to break our solo triage. Since we didn't have any secondary carrier pilots on standby and not enough DPS to break their fleet if we put half the fleet into Guardians. This escalation -- after waiting another 15 minutes to see what they were up to -- forced us to move off the field and yield the hole to them to roll. End result was a 2 different doctrines facing off with neither side choosing to take a fight that would result with a 90%+ chance of failure for their fleet.

Maybe we can setup a time to brawl around in low-sec or something to redeem our lack of exploding? I would say W-space but the chain can be so fickle.

Indeed. Suicide Express is all about the pew. I can speak from personal experience that going into someones home system, only for them to drop multiple dreads on you isn't a good fight. It's killmail whoring at it's finest.

What is even worse is when you don't sacrifice all your ships like an idiot, you are labeled as someone who doesn't fight. Some people need to get that ridiculous thinking out of their heads.
