It was created to stop people from hopping corps for a couple minutes to bypass a corp war gatecamp, then rejoin. P.S. Don't double post. I didnt want access's in first place I make my own way. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE... Carrot on a stick is fine but, making it where I can not leave somthing if I wanted to is stupid.

Then it can't hurt for you to wait a single day You can always ask them not to give you roles when you join, so that you can leave immediately. Berilac	Posted - 2006.03.22 01:55:00 - [11] You don't need roles to try out a corp, however your experience in that corp will be well diminished if you don't eventualy use rolls and the abilitys that they grant. To "try out" a corp just ask them to not grant you any rolls, and you should be able to switch out whenever you want (afaik.)

Sucks to be you. TBH, if I was CCP, I'd allow roles in the case of a corp thief. It's completely unfair that CCP doesn't give corporations anything such as a lockdown ability to allow them to deal with caught thieves. Or even an 'access code' thing for gear from the corp hangars self-locks after you leave the corp, or something. I know intelligence plays a huge part in stopping thieves, but it wouldn't hurt for CCP to give out some sort of counter instead of punishing people for using the only thing they have to keep the thief in their custody(roles). Yes, there's all sorts of very good reasons for having that cooling-off period in there, but doesn't make it any less annoying. There is one workaround, though. If you create a new corp, you leave instantly, iirc. Chapter Four out now
