Ever ransom someone lately and they don't reply? It could be because local isn't working at all for some people.

I don't ransom people in local myself, convos always. Otherwise I'm informing everyone else in local that I'm pirating.

Ransom in private channels, that way the MOTD can be set as your ransom note so you don't have to do any typing, plus you get the added joy of kicking them out once you're done with them.

I think I had this last night, I shouted '300m or die' to a guy in a reaper... he just ignored me.

I dont think ransom in local and get the bug is the worst though.. but not knowing if the prey is calling for help, and what everyone else is saying..

Pff, thats not the local bug, thats just cos when you appear in the overview people run away from their computer screaming 
Must admit the bug is quite annoying though, for the reasons zat said.

Why ransom overall!? Cause the guys i always try 2 kill always have a set of 1-2 wcs so I've come 2 conclusion that i should rather kill ppl than ransom them!!

I make alot more isk ransoming or forcing people to eject than i ever would killing them.
I drunkenly made someone eject from a tempest, totally forgetting that I dont have the skills to fly it

Right-click on the tab for the channel, and click settings. You need to be moderator for that channel though

just remember not to ransom a t1 frig when u got ur MOTD set to a 100m ransom :P
