Edited by: Thunderpig on 22/03/2006 15:53:38 My friend and I, PvP fanatics both from past MMOs, are eager to start our pirating/PvP career in Eve. We did our homework and decided that interceptors would be the the best fit for us skill-wise and fun-wise.
I'm close to getting Minmatar Frig to V, and I'm looking at a Stiletto. My buddy is a a Gallente pilot working towards a Tanaris (he's been a diligent Gallente character and is close to using T2 drones)
My question is this: what is the biggest thing us ambitious inty pilots can take down? Cruiser? Dare I say BS with the right fitting?
As I said, we are somewhat new and I'd like to get a sense of what kind of damage we can do with these 2 ships. I'd also be more than open to suggestions for possible setups for both my friend and me!

Edited by: Zulaya on 22/03/2006 15:54:39 BS yes, with the right fitting and tactics maybe, and assuming the BS is not prepared for that kind of engagement very well (ie, it better not be a raven with rpecision cruise or a dominix sporting (light) drones and nos).
Stiletto and Taranis are a good a combination as any. Fit the taranis for damage and with a scrambelr and fit the stiletto with one scrambler and the rest dampeners if you want to go attack a BS. Once the BS starts using drones target those first while keeping the bs in place.
If you manage to kill the drones you most likely win. I advise dampeners over ecm because of the cap use and highe rrate of success. ECM is an option too however.

Any single target without heavy or medium NOS.

Can I strongly reccomend that you start out in cheap frigs to get your strategies and tactics worked out. If you can engage and win in a couple of frigs THEN break out the inties

An interceptor can avoid being hit by a battleship, but can it output enough damage to break the battleship's tank? I am doubtful...

Depends.
Some battleship pilots won't have a tank.
