The Shattered Star Confederation [.SSC.] is now once again open to recruitment.
The brief .SSC. History in Eve:
The .SSC. has had a long history. We settled in Mies near release, next to Luminaire.
Our presence in Empire space dropped off considerably however, when a bunch of us moved out to the Fountain region. In a pre-FA era we were present during the conflict that ensued between the formative parties of the FA. It was then, during the conflict to see who would stay in the region that we joined up with the group that would form the FA, and we become founding members of that once great alliance.
Our corporation almost entirely moved operations out to 0.0 in FA space. There we were part of not just the industrial efforts of the alliance, but we also had extensive roles in the PVP aspect of the alliance. We were part of routine patrols throughout FA space, operating in small wolf-pack style gangs of interceptors and larger support craft.
We left the FA about 4 months ago on friendly terms, but seeking a different path. Since then we've been getting our feet back under us and we're in the midst of a regrowth and rebirth time.
The .SSC. briefly as a whole:
Founded in 1997, the .SSC. has been involved in many games over the years, including such games as Freespace, Freespace 2 (we are mentioned in the Special Thanks section of the Freespace 2 credits), Tribes, Tribes 2, Mechwarrior 4, Descent 3, and many, many others.
The .SSC. is founded on five Ideals. It is these Ideals that makes us who we are and defines how we are different:
Honor: Every member is expected to conduct themselves with honor. Cowardice or cheating are both violations of honor.
Integrity: Truth is the basis of honor. Without integrity, one cannot be honorable.
Freedom: Real life always comes first. As engaging as Eve is, it is still only a game. We all have jobs or school work and nobody is ever expected to jeopardize their work, grades, or personal health because of a game.
Equality: Nobody is treated as an inferior. Everyone has an equal say in major decisions. Those in command positions are there because they have earned the trust of their peers.
Kinship: The .SSC. is like a family. Each member should treat each other like a sibling. Not everyone will always get along, but everyone is expected to conduct themself in a mature, responsible fashion.

We've been very successful thus far in our recruitment. It's very encouraging.

We had a good number of recruits join up in our last recruitment drive, and after a brief hiatus from recruiting actively, we're starting up again.

It's exciting times for us. We've got new members, new industrial opportunities and those in turn are opening new Combat doors and budgeting options for us, including an updated military budget.

If you're interested in Combat I'm one of the people to talk to, Ascorbic would be a good contact for industry.
Combat wise we are looking for some more people to bolster our 0.0 operations and presence. I can give you details on that if you're interested.

Hi,
Your corp really sounds like a cool bunch of people.
If you're still interested, i'm a fairly new combat pilot, looking for some more people to play with.
I dont have that many skills yet, however, i am training my character as fast as possible.
At the moment I'm flying a Vexor, while i'm saving up for a Thorax.
I live in europe but work sometimes is a pain. I try to log in every day.
Usually play from like 0-1am 'till 4am (GMT+1)
What i expect from your corporation is mainly fun, and to meet new people in eve who i can join for missings, maybe pvp (don't fancy losing a ship, but ah hell  ), ..
Discounts on corp manufactured items would be a turn on as well. Lets face it, if i can buy a ship from you guys for half the price, it benefits me, and it benefits you as well, as it is another big(ger) ship by your side in a war. 
I'm currently flying out in the Jel solarsystem, where me and some friends who just started Eve as well, are doing the missings for some cash.

You're corporation sounds experienced and established. I'm interested in joining up. I'm a stealth bomber pilot with 2+years play experience and 3+years total(1 year and some change hiatus). My SP is outta ratio compared to my time played due to a long hiatus with the on going world conflicts and classes in a higher education. Let me know if you need a spec ops pilot.
