Welcome Brothers and Sisters, to the True Beginning
If there is one constant within the galaxy of Eve it is that, on some level, conflict results in loss. A corporate war causes both sides to lose ships, morale, and members. Even the winning side has its individual losses, and thus members who's pocket books suffer along with their motivation to continue fighting.
For any respectable corporation in Eve, wartime results in a weeding process. No matter the situation or cause, there are individuals who have goals and visions that do not involve conflict. They will leave to persue their individual dreams, as well they should. One should only remain where they feel called to excel. However, there is another breed of humanity that inhabits these stars...
There are those who realize that in our galaxy, conflict is unavoidable. More so, it defines every alliance, corporation, and individual. Who are the Triad without their enemies. What is CVA without it's defended territories. Without conflict there would be no conquest. No victory.
No Heroes.
A mighty alliance that faces a powerful foe may shed a layer from its populace, but a closer look reveals that this is only from the surface. Upon removing this superficial topping what remains is nothing but pure purpose. Individuals that have crafted the solid foundations with ideals written in blood. Individuals who have found their true identity. Together, they have forged an unbreakable bond fighting for what they value most in this galaxy, be it riches, peace, fame, or freedom.
Yes. Conflict brings loss. However, without conflict our galaxy is meaningless. Our identities are undefinined. The result of war is a new body, cleaned and refined to perfection, ready to move forward with a power and focus greater than ever before.
It is here that we can see the forest through the trees. With strength and faith the mighty are born. For remember Brothers and Sisters...
