Hey everyone,
We here at EvEgathering are already working logistics out for next year and planning the event. SO before we get to far into next years 2nd annual type mode we wanted to really hear from the eve community...
What would you like to see at a Gathering of Fans with CCP attending IN Las Vegas.
Tell us and we may make it come true...all ideas and input are welcome...
what could we do to make it better...
We already are planning some huge things but we want to hear it from the community...

Moocifer is such a little flameboi. Even though the whole EVE-Radio affair may have been LESS THAN IDEAL for everyone involved, it doesn't retract from what the gathering was.
Something a little more to the north would be nice, but barring that I might try to go to Vegas next year anyway. By the sound of things, it sounds like a nice north-american equivalent of the Icelandic and London gatherings. ---

Well since you asked: Location, Las Vegas, is good. With planning hotels are cheap and you can get anywhere by mon-rail or taxi. 1. Larger meeting area. The Rainbow was nice but canĘt handle more people then what we had this year. 2. How about some 20-minute seminars on things like skill training, module usage, profession choices, weapons types. I think ISD could handle this or better yet some players could. 3. A room where there could be battle tournaments between 4 member teams which could be broadcasted to overhead monitors so the whole gathering could watch the fun. 4. Raffle for ingame items like named weapons, ISK or T2 BCs / BSs (but based on your mainĘs race). 5. 2-3 day event instead of a one day. 6. Last full day for CCP Dev future of EVE / question and answer seminar. Questions can be collected during the first couple of days to give everyone a chance to remember what they wanted to ask. LOL. I had a load of question I wanted to ask, I remembered them on my drive home.

Your behaviour pre & post this little gathering makes me wonder if you really are a grown man at all ..
Stop trying to make yourself insta-famous & important within this gaming community please.
If you would just tone yourself down a little and let momentum build perhaps more people would grow to like and appreciate whatever it is deep down you're trying to accomplish ..
WTF?
I hope your just being a smartass. If not why don't you go away.

I guess if it is in the spirit of letting everyone have the chance to go you could have it on the East Coast this time. Like Atlanta, GA. Major airport there and I'm sure you could find facilities. If the Devs are just going to be there because of GDC then it'll be at Vegas I guess.

I wont ever be able to make a trip to the US for a gathering, but I did thoroughly enjoying tuning in and listening to the whole thing that night while I was playing Eve in London that night.
I hope you can webcast the audio again - it was fun to listen in. Even better would be some video too :)
Good luck!

Lower cost to get in the door
Contact several air carriers and work out a discount package, same for hotels.
Have it on a weekend when i dont have to work!
