The results are in! You'd survive for twenty years after the apocalypse. If you go out, it won't be through lack of trying. It'll be bad luck that gets you in the end. You're basically Mel Gibson in Mad Max.

The results are in! You'd survive for fifty years after the apocalypse. You'll be around until civilization rebuilds itself. There'll be legends told about your name. You're basically the dog in Independence Day.
personally I think the odds of civilization recovering in a mere 50 years on par with 2015 seeing a balanced US budget. |

You know, that's pretty damn good for the end of the world. Well done.
You're basically Will Smith in I Am Legend.
Well, if my type 2 diabetes didnt kill me first. i am on pills, and not insulin, so the starvation weight loss and wild diet from hunting and gathering might help me a bit.
If I was insulin dependant id be screwed in short order.

Twenty years. I would be 50 then. That's a good run considering I am a living example of Murphy's Law. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

If I "survived for 40 years" I'd be closer to 80 than 70, so I guess I'd probably would have died of old age before that anyway.

Most definitely, but combine that with the concept of cats and 9 lives and it is a much better option then using a dog. Still a long stretch to say the least.
For anyone that has not seen or heard of the movie here is the Cat's Eye trailer. It is still a good watch.
