Edited by: Fendra on 22/03/2006 23:56:09 OmniGen Plc
OmniGen Plc is looking for investors to get it on its feet and thus we are having an IPO. Details about the company can be found here.
We are selling 20000 shares @ 100k each. There are 30000 shares in the company at present, 5000 will be bought by the OmniGen Plc members as a source of income. 5000 will be kept by the corporation, should extra capital be needed in the future the OmniGen Plc reserves the right to sell these shares at market price (buying high price BPOÆs etc). There will be fortnightly reports on the corporationÆs sales and revenue. We predict that with modest sales each share will have a 8-15% monthly return.
We hope to have investors from all backgrounds, and the share price is purposely low to allow younger pilots the chance to part take in this great opportunity.
After the recent success of the ISS IPOÆs, O'Mara Shipyards IPO, and other IPOÆs, I ask you this. Can you afford to not invest?
To purchase shares send the ISK to "Fendra". Each share costs 100,000isk, you can buy any number between 1 - 5000.
WeÆre ready when you are.

Originally by: Fendra OmniGen Plc aims to be the new manufacturing power in eve. Through shrewd dealing, excellent market knowledge, a vast array of trade contacts, a dedicated business plan and lack of inefficiencies. OmniGen Plc can and will become a market leader.
OmniGen Plc will produce T1 ships, modules, ammo and combine all 3 in special package deals.
Where can I find the Business Plan or is that it ?

You are forecasting a profit of 240mil-450mil (8-15% return) per month, do you really think you'll achieve that selling tech 1 ships, mods, ammo sales ?
If your corp is buying shares in itself, is the dividends from those shares considered income for the corp also ? If so that would mean that it is taken into account when calculating the dividends to shareholders the following month correct ?

Who are you and who is in your corp?
Does anyone know if this player/character can execute? Who is in your corp?
I'd love to invest if I knew more about your corporation past that you want money.

No we dont, that was a typo, it should be 5-12%. And yes, we do think we can make that. By covering as much of the market as possible and maximising product coverage we believe we can and will.

The gross profits will be spread out between the shares sold out. E.G.
There are 10 shares (1 is kept by the corp), and 100mil gross profits. The dividend will be 11.1 mil per share insted of 10m.

Well you are free to view my employment history in game.
Also forgot to mention that not all assets will have to be bought. A freighter, and certain BPO's have been made part of the company assets from my hanagers.

I do like your idea/propersition, but I still need to know a couple things before I invest, now I plan on buying 250-1200 shares from you, I gotta check my financial well being before I procede thou, now if your compnay fails, will you buy back the shares at the ipo price?, what are yoiur current assets and what assets are you planing on geting, specifics would be nice, what I am looking for is stuff like "we are gonna gte a t2 frigate bpo" I don't care more if your getting a harpy bpo or whatnot, but I as well as otheres would like to know at least a blur picture of how your garenntee this 5-12% payback.

We are doing purely t1 production, I doubt a good t2 frig bpo could be bought for 2bil. Should the company fail (highly unlikely) then all assets will be liquefied and given to the shareholders. Also there is no guarantee that you will get 5-12% back, this is a low risk investment. It was the same for the ISS and for other IPO's. Assets in the company before the IPO include a freighter and several ammunition and ship bpos. OGPLC will be buying other ship and module BPO's. All the essential modules should as Missile launchers, shield boosters, afterburners etc will have either bpcs or bpos bought.

So let's see, Mr. Fendra has been in quite a few corps during almost 2 years. Yet during all those months, he has done only couple missions and no NPCing. At least you've managed 3 forums posts before this thread.
Sounds like an alt to me. So who is your main, and why you are not using him?
In the end the question is what we should ask is not whether your predictions of profits will hold, but rather, is your reputation worth of 2 000 million ISKs?
Would think you need a bit more convincing. Start with revealing your real main char, and then perhaps writing the business plan.

Do you have some returns on investment to put forward already ? at least 1 month of operation ?
Its one thing to claim 5-12% return per month (which is a LOT more then the ISS shares etc...) but its another thing to deliver it...
So how do you plan to do this ?
Or do you have a few months of operation to show for ?
If you can provide evidence of a plan to return a minimum of 5% per month I am more then willing to buy 5,000 shares.

1. "Mr Fendra" Excuse me?
2. I dont do missions or kill npcs. Possibly due to the lack of interest in killing stuff? I like my production and research (still no damned t2 bpo ). I may have started playing the game 2 years ago, but I havent been playing all that time.
3. I havent gone into any detail on the business plan as simply it would be rather stupid to do so. Give away how the company is going to be run, selling what, where and how. The ISS is able to be much more open as it has approx. 0 competitors. OmniGen Plc on the otherhand is dealing with other competitors. Depending on background checks and size of investment, I may (nothing certain) share a more detailed business plan with potential investors.

The corporation is a new venture created by myself with a couple of close friends, so we dont let have any returns, yet.
Hmm I was sure that the ISS shares had a 5% return prediction?
See my post above about the business plan. The 5-12% is a predicted annual return as the market is ever changing and therefore some months will be more profitable then others.

At least that is clear and blatant lie; your standings do not allow any T2 research.
Anyway, I'll might stop now. After that lie, altish appearance and refusal to even bother making business plan, who ever invests on your shares, indeed deserves it.

Depending on which project we're talking about ISS returns between 1,4% - 1,8% at current share prices... 60-70 months to return capital invested... The best Laugh ever ... Credit goes to TheKiller8 for this :) |

Ah ok my bad, I must have read it wrongly. This changes nothing and OmniGen Plc still predicts a 5-12% monthly return.
