Yeah as the topic says, earlier today our gang hit ~ 330 ppl after that it just broke and dumped a 100+ ppl out of gang causing mass chaos and a large number of ppl to become gang bugged. This probably hasnt ever happened before but its something that you guys might wanna look into... I checked error logs and nothing shows up so im not really sure how to file a bugreport for it. Just noting that the current system really broke down today.
Can't wait for the new tiered gang system comming with kali!.

another option is to split into 2 gangs tho it does show a limit on gangs as it stands atm

Or ... you could just NOT go out in big gangs.. lol
Go out in smaller gangs, so we can kill you easier

Great idea, split your gang into only 150 members each, that way when you meet an enemy fleet of 300 ships... wait, you'd be buggered

/me thinks that gangs should be more closely skil controlled and limited to 10 memebers anyways (more than this and it becomes a mob/armada/fleet which should be the realm of Flagship Command ships) ..

330 people isn't a gang, it's a dam ARMY !!!!
this is fairly hard to test tbh as there isn't 330+ BH. if you can reproduce this, can you get us a logfile and submit a br please. this will be useful.

needed ISD event spanning several high sec systems make a big noise over it jita to yuali then out to amarr swing it out minmatar space then back up to cist and ours broadcast it across the game go for 1000 ppl chasing some heavy hitting aurora ships

That would definitely be a good way to get rid of prat gatecamps. Fly through systems like a wave and just clobber them.

Take a look at skill req. for gang assist mods. Especially if you want to run more then one on a BC. That's why splitting* gangs is a bad idea.

SengH, I assume you were running Gang Assist modules ? On a normal BC or a T2 one ? Did they left the gang while it was still showing them as part of the gang ?

We had more at the snowball event so you might be careful with what you say there mister. ;) Edit: Then again we also had a titan or so they say. 
Sorry for going OT.
On a serious note: @CCP: New servers are nice and all. More players filling your company wallet is nice too. The fact that huge fleet battles (actually even med sized ones) are plain simple not playable still is just a shame though. Factional warfare sounds fun but you might fix the game first before adding that!
