It was nuts tho had to manouver around roids as to not get decloaked just to get to the little beggar, right in the middle of the belt.

I had great fun yesterday, ransomed a cyclone in my cruiser (no big deal), and a warning was thrown out in local that 'Kat's playing the ransom game'. I wandered into the next system a while later where 2 people had apparently moved after the warning was given, to rat in peace. We were the only 3 there. I was on the phone, so just warped to their belt and watched them rat, uncloaked (for like 5 minutes, no small length of time).
At this point, after I could have killed them 5 times over, one of them shouts to the other (in local, though they are in the same corp..) 'Safespot, now!'.
Score one up for elite tactical awareness

is it cool when ppl just run from you without saying anything (even greater numbers/better ships) - or do they have to say something in local for it to be cool?

didnt say it was kewl, said it was amusing 
If you fly reccy cruiser you do find it incredible fun just getting so close without them knowing.
i actually manouvered right threw a bubble camp with this thing, its funny when u say to them, im so close to you i can hear your thoughts then watch them all unload there drones.
and then jump.... har har har
Cant wait to get my little FRC corp going.
