I have been looking at the different modules and im at a complete loss. Reading the descriptions is just no help at all. (this could really use some improvement!)
What is ladar, gravimetric, magnetometric etc etc
Another question: is it possible to deploy a mobile warp disruptor while cloaked?
Thank you for any help :-) Eve can be confusing for new players...

Ladar, Gravimetric et al refer to the targetting type of the various races' ships:
Radar = Amarr
Gravimetric = Caldari
Ladar = Minmatar
Magnetometric = Gallente
These stats really come into play when using target jammers (ECM) modules. FOr example, if you want a better chance of jamming a Caracal, a Caldari cruiser, fit a Gravimetric ECM module.
As for the second question, no. You cannot jettison or launch anything while cloaked. Even if you could, its immediate proximity to your ship would decloak you.
EDIT: Don't even think about deploying a Mobile Warp Disruptor in any systems above 0.0; it won't be pretty!

Thank you for the answers, its a lot less confusing now! :)
Why is it not a good idea to deploy warp disruptor in above 0.0? i figured anything below 0.5 was fine?

Because it's a criminal act, and you and the warp bubble will be flagged accordingly. This means that not only are other pilots allowed to shoot at you freely, but if you go near any sentry guns, they will do so as well.
As these bubbles are primarily placed at gates, this presents ifself as a "not good" idea.

I there a timer on that or how does that flagging work?
So using scrambelrs and webs is less dangerous to your precious health than a deployable module....?

Nope, the gate guns will shoot you just as much for webbing and scramming as they will for dropping a bubble. ANY aggressive action will get their attention and they will stay ****ed at you for a good 15 minutes.
The only advantage is you dont waste 10 mill on the bubble popping if you do it yourself.
