OK CCP what are you up to?
I log in to SiSi after the latest update and find in my CQ a right click menu on my ship, and a double click to open the ships hanger. I almost had a drag and drop ship, the original ship did vanish but the new ship did not appear. I had to go to the hanger view to get it back
I then take off and find I have an auto GÇÿwarp to 0 on gate and jumpGÇÖ, you can do this by either selecting the gate in your overview and pressing [D] or click the [Jump] icon (not the [Warp to 0] icon).
I donGÇÖt know if this is supposed to work like that but if it is then I can foresee a few complaints from the gate campers.
My Helios cloaks in seconds (quick fade then blinks out), and is so cloaked even I canGÇÖt see the thing and IGÇÖm flying it.
Docking made my ship vanish and I had to log off and on to get it back (oh what fun we have).
Finally I notice some of the gates are turned to face a distant nebula and short of shoot you towards them (nice).

Not sure how I feel about the automatic jumping but I think I'm in favour of it. We can do it anyway, just warp and spam jump as soon as you get to the gate so this change just seems like it would save a few LMB buttons. I see it as steamlining the UI, and we already have it with 'warp to a station and dock' which doesn't irk station campers since even if we didn't have it, we would just warp to the station and spam dock anyway.
The ship disappearing is a bug, the being able to click on ships in CQ was in the last build.

Also the autopilot is different. It won't run off if you warp to 0 at a gate, so if you have autopilot switched on and you warp to 0, autopilot will eventually jump you and you can manually warp to 0 at the next gate, where autopilot will jump you again, instead of switching off every time you warp to 0.
I think being able to warp and jump is apart of that change and it's a convenience thing.
It's also not game breaking, I noticed that warping and jumping on contact is sub optimal to spamming the jump button. It takes a couple of seconds longer. It also doesn't work on those gates which are just a few metres out of jump range.
So really if anyone pressed 'warp to 0 and jump' or left autopilot on to make them automatically jump, they would be far more likely to be utterly wtfpwnedbbq in low/null sec by gate campers, as opposed to the traditional method of warp to 0 and spamming jump.
I'm pretty sure even the faction police would have time to catch you if you tried this.
So yeah, more convenient, not game breaky... in fact could be a field day for gate campers when newbies use it. |

Don't know if this is new to this build or not, but i where in Hatakani and wanted to go to the nearest Federal Intelligence Office station. So, i checked the corp and found one in Renyn, right clicked the info box to set destination and was presented with 4 jumps in the autopilot waypoint. Undocked and initiated warp to first gate and then turned on AP while i grabbed a refill off coffee. Noticed when i came back to comp that i had 2 jumps left and Renyn was the next one, which was kinda odd, knowing Renyn was the last system onroute. Ship approached the gate and jumped into Renyn, while i was waiting for the message that AP had been disengaged, my ship initiates a warp to the Federal Intelligence station i used to set destination to Renyn for and docked there. Have to say that i like this behavior.

I agree completely, I'm so tired of mashing the Jump button trying to catch the exact moment the warp ends. Great change. |

Shocking.
Did the autopilot warp you to the station 'at zero'? |

I can confirm that autopilot warps you to 15km, then you approach and dock, just like with gates.
It's pretty cool. |

If you really want something daft, I had docked at a station and had a black screen, no ship just the services window etc.
So for a bit of fun I set a destination 4 jumps to a station where I wanted to buy a new ship. Undocked (still a black screen) and hit autopilot, it jumped me all the way to the system and docked my GÇÿshipGÇÖ, all without me doing anything and not seeing a thing until I docked.
I did notice the route list of the small squares has an extra square with the same name as the previous one but a slightly different cross on it and it seems that one is the GÇÿdock in stationGÇÖ square.
Took me by surprise when it happened but a really nice extra if it get to TQ.
I am a bit worried about the GÇÿauto warp and jumpGÇÖ mechanism because it might cause an unsuspecting new pilot to jump into low or 0.0 space without warning and right into a gate camp.
Other than that both have their merits and could reduce the tedium of travel if you have to go a long way.

A dev comments on this here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=31388&find=unread Its very new and its only for you personally: shots received and delivered. But missed shots do fly out into space. |

Yep, there are a few youtube vids of it up already, although it hasn't been perfected yet -- You'll see when people 'miss' you, and you'll see when you miss them, but you won't (just yet) be able to see other people 'missing' your friends...

Confirming that the gates have been rotated to shoot you toward your destination instead of a random spot in space. I just traveled from Genesis to Aridia. Each jump from Genesis was aimed directly at the Nebula near Aridia. It was perfect. Felt SOOOOO much more cohesive and immersive KNOWING what direction I was jumping in as opposed to just going in a direction and not really knowing where I ended up at. This is really the first time that I felt like I am actually traveling in space and know exactly where I am going. Great job CCP on this fix. This is AWESOME!!!! |

Ok, yea, just did some testing from Genesis --> Domain and it doesnt look to be oriented towards Domain at all. I'll have to test this out some more... |

1-click jump on contact is an intended feature. (Protip: try some other common actions you might do to objects in space as well) Warp To 0-Set as First Waypoint-Autopilot already accomplishes the "jump on contact" behavior, but is frankly rather annoying to have to do every jump. So we streamlined it a bit :)
