Its a strongly RP game, so seems just and reflects the times upon the game is based.

Why tough? I heard someone in the threads was proposing a JAIL system >:P ... Misbehaving players can be placed in there for people to mock at

This just makes me want to play that game. if not only to gank and then be on the cross and have this conversation with people:
person: Hey gamer, what are you doing up there?
me: Oh, you know, just hangin' around.

As far as I hear hte punishment is equal to a ban, it's for the duration of 7 days and was not cause by ganking but by spawnkilling in a zone that didnt allow it.
Oh, and its beta :p At a guess this is one of those things that'll prove waaay impractical in a final release

a couple days ago, i started thinking about it would be kinda cool to be able to capture players by scooping their pod into the cargohold, then you could take him back to a Station where he could be handed over to concord (for pirates) or torturing them to get intel out of em. but i know it never will be possible

Michael Moore is from Flint Michigan... Maybe its; really him they're hangin up there.

Wouldn't it be cool if one of the Devs just came to your house and when ya opened the door they just slapped you extremely hard in the face and said "play nice!". That would be funner imho.
