Oh I must have just imagined that we have deployed three outposts so far, with three more about to be constructed in the next 6 weeks.
And if anyone thinks we suck at PvP, come down to KDF-GY for a 1v1 :) We are always happy to play.
To answer the OP: I'd go for the Raven. Its kind to new players.

Yeah.. I don't want to flame but Kilrock is right, they haven't really achieved anything, definatley nothing I haven't and to be honest they aren't a PVP corp.
Quite a few alliances have more outposts than the ISS, I've been to KDF several times and all I found were a load of ISSN corpses, cans and drones with a few of them docked and non ISS gank squads roaming around. I've also fought ISSN who thought it was a good idea to run their BS gang seperately from the rest of the ISS corps in local who happened to be 99% of the tacklers. Most ISS left in pods.
But anyway that's all I'm saying as I don't want to get into a flame fest.

You're talking crap.
First things first - all we do is PvP. Thats it. And we're not a PvP corp? Right.
Secondly, corpses... And? I get podded at least twice a day by my corpmates to clone jump to other offices. I got the ISK and its the most convenient way for me to get around.
ISSN are, however, a seperate organistion from the ISS though we are very much part of the alliance.
It doesnt really matter who else is in KDF local, we're the ones who do the fighting while most of the rest of ISS stay docked. We don't mind, they're an industrial alliance. Also we refuse to let ISS join our gangs unless they get on Vent which some don't do, so we won't fight with them.
As I said, if any of you want a 1v1, name the ship type and meet me in KDF. Otherwise, put up or shut up.

I know it's not one of the 3 bs's listed but, I think if I were to solo pirate in a battleship, I'd go with the Scorpion. Yes, I know it doesn't have the damage output that the higher tier ships do but, the 8 mid slots really allow you to totally incapacitate your prey.

To answer the original OP, I would choose RAVEN without question. Easiest gank setup against average pilots.
NOSJAMDOMI would be fun alternative
Regards,
p.s. Jon Hawkes is a good pilot, although I hope his talents are not wasted in ISS Navy

As NPC corps are KOS in KDF these days, you are welcome to come down and find out for yourself
To go back to the original point, I think few ships can match the Dominix for an all-round pirate BS. Is there any 1v1 it doenst stand a good chance of winning?
Though as already highlighted, the Raven is probably kinder to those of low skillpoints.

Find out what for myself? I flew with Jon, and he is a good guy.
You, Butter Dog are a moronic idiot who likes to beat his chest. Why do I need to come down to prove anything? I have seen your Navy in action. Dont make me laugh.
Grow up and get a clue. Good Day Sir.

Edited by: Butter Dog on 29/03/2006 14:51:46 I just don't like people spouting crap about the ISSN, an organisation they clearly know nothing about in terms of how its run, what our objectives are, or how many cool PvPers we have.
The ones beating their chests are the pirates who call us carebears, and then decline a 1v1.
There is a word for it: Spineless
Not that I'm saying you are, its just a more general observation.
We've quadrupled in size within a month and we have a lot of very good veteran PvPers :)
