Hey guys,
I wonder why it is allowed in HSec to destroy someones mobile structure without being concordokken'd? Luckyly you are allowed to rep it without any punishment or flagging, as far as I experienced at least. Well, they are basically player property so the same rules as for secure cans should be applied to them as well. Or did I missed something? Was this intended or rather a design flaw? |

Working as intended. Mobile structures can give you serious tactical advantages over other players in highsec. This is balanced by allowing those same players to shoot them. everevolutionaryfront.blogspot.com |

Granted. But its also used to knock out the safety settings. Namely if you have drones set on aggressive, they will attack the attacker of your mobile structure even if your settings are enabled. Im not on the side of those whining noobs that cry for every loss they make, however I think that specific circumstance is not intended. |

Drones on aggressive isn't a good idea in most cases anyhow. Can cause some real problems if your not careful. Killboard

It doesn't knock out the safety settings at all. The person shooting your deployable will become a suspect and thus anyone shooting them will not get any sort of criminal flag. As the green safety setting allows you to shoot anyone you like as long as it doesn't give you a criminal flag you could shoot them yourself with safeties on green. Drones on agressive will attack anything aggressed onto you or your personal deployables as long as it is compatable with your safety settings. As shooting criminals is allowed under all safety settings the only solution is not to combine deployables with agressive drones or to kill the guy shooting your stuff. I believe you confused the criminal timers with the limited engagement timers that allow criminals to defend themselves and allow duels to take place. As much as i hate real world analogies i am going to use one anyway. Some guy comes to the park and viciously stabs your football and then laughs at you. This guy has criminally destroyed your property. If you then start shooting him he is absolutely allowed to defend himself and shoot back. here is a list of all the fiat currencies that didn't end up at zero value.....and here is a list of the places where a currency pegged to a real commodity has successfully co-existed with compound interest....-á Here is a physics professor explaining why sustainable growth isn't a thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-QA2rkpBSY |

Seems like I confused a few things. Thanks. I already made my drones passive, so they wont attack someone who shoots my stuff. :) |
