It increase your powergrid. Base 10, plus skill modifiers.
Lifewire> 8000 m/s, even battleships can do this |

Sorry to ask but i really do not understand what this does. micro auxiliary power Does it raise the ships overall power and by how much? or Increase the cap? Anyone know the answer please tell me thank you all.

Other modules provide a % boost to grid which in the case of a BC will be greater than that provided by a micro aux. Use pdu's or rcu's instead.

Probably not... they are really good for frigates... but I think you get more powergrid just equiping a PDS. Take the Brutix - 1150 pg, with a PDS I that takes it up to 1207 powergrid. So which would be better adding 50 PG or 10 PG?

For the newer players:
PDS = Power Diagnostic System = minimum 5% bonus to ship powergrid
RCU = Reactor Control Unit = Minimum 10% bonus to ship powergrid.

No, their only good on frigates, on anything bigger fit a Reactor Control Unit, will give you way more pg :)

Thank you so large ships its not worth it but small ones its really good like a tristan would be good but a brutix use the % upgrades?

You should only use micro auxiliaries on frigates and destroyers.
The rule of thumb is you shouldn't use them on a ship that has more than 100-120 powergrid.
However, if you only need a slight boost in powergrid output, see if a power diagnostic will not make you able to fit what you want to fit, as a power diag gives several nice little bonuses to your ship besides boosting your grid.

Thanks guys and gals i was looking for the best way to power a megathron. I had just never met anyone who was using one of those wanted to see if it would be better than the Type D power core i am now using
