Hello! I just started playing the game. I like the in-game music but have some other mp3s I wouldn't mind adding to the mix. Is this possible at all?

No, and its against the EULA (modifying the client).
Its far easier either way to use Winamp or any other Media Player instead.

Ok thanks for the answer. I was afraid of that.
Is there any word if they are looking into a more interactive jukebox? Seems like they got most if it there already. I really like the music that comes with the game -- it's my kind of space music -- just wouldn't mind a little more of it :)

You can always download the music from the website or extract it using the exStuff extractor, and combine that in a playlist with your own music.

They're not putting much effort into the jukebox as of right now. There's alot of issues they're working out and new content they're trying to add, the music player works good enough for them.
I'd love to be able to add some stuff to the playlist but Winamp sufficeth and whatnot

Oh that's a good idea! I actually bought a JunkieXL album to listen to just because the song in the trailer is so perfect! However, it's more just one long trance/dance mix but still good.
Speaking of which, anyone know if that JunkieXL song used in the main EVE trailer is available?

the name of the track is 'Beauty Never Fades'- its on the Soundtrack for the animatrix and I think it's either on a single or with a song called "Breezer" - they both have extensions as well.

Yes, the track is directly from the Animatrix soundtrack. Excellent song, and you should be able to get the Animatrix ST for cheap these days.

I know it is against the EULA to change the default jukebox MP3s...but just for educational purposes, does anyone have a link to a website that gives instructions on how to do it?
