I've been wrestling with starting attributes for the past 24 hours. I've tried to answer my own questions by experimenting w/ different characters and races. Now I got PLENTY of time to research further in the forums as all 3 of my characters are in the biomass bin ... 10 HOURS..SHEEEEESH.
I really was hoping to be happy with the 3rd character. I'm not. I guess I could go outside. A timer would be nice. Is it set to 10 hours because people are creating characters just to loot the 45K skill? I can't imagine that being worth the trouble. I understand a cool down period is needed for players who just got ganked and are in despair. I usually get overe things in less than an hour. Lets negiotiate.
hmm... has it been 10 hours yet?

i think its there to curb noob scout alt recycling... similar to the 24hr delay for dropping titles and roles and quitting corps.

probably to make it harder for scammers to reroll quick everytime they get a bad rep or something to do with corp thiefs i imagine.

iirc it was to curb suicide kessies back in the day. Before you could suicide kill a few people, when your sec status got to low, just delete and make a new one that fast.

I'd like to think that it's a safety check to make sure you don't delete the WRONG character. Could you imagine deleting you main by accident when recycling newb characters?
My screams would be heard in space.

And how would you like it if some hacker was to log onto your account while you sleep and wait out a short queue and delete your character before you awake.
