Yeah, so, my lvl 3 agents seem to think that I would like to get these freaking 120,000 cubic meter monstrosities, made with a few thousand isk of minerals, instead of a a couple hundred thousand isk as my bonus reward for missions... wtf?
It's not like I can sell the things... no one would fly anywhere to buy one because you can't move the damn things without a freighter. I can't refine it for decent money. I doubt more than a fraction of eve players ever even buy the things AT ALL!
So why have I had 4 of these given to me as rewards for level 3 missions in the last couple hours?
FFS!

I think ccp is trying in a way to make us organize our hangers... There is no other explanasion of the freight containers. Assemble them set names and put loot in order Thats what i do and hangers open sweet and fast

I agree - but for gods sake let us have better remote access to our stuff through the assets window. Remotely being able to open cans and repackaging stuff, even being able to trash things would make more people use cans for storage I feel

You don't need these idiotic "rewards" to organize your gear. USE STATION CONTAINERS. Station containers can hold things like Marines and Uranium whereas Freight Containers cannot. Station containers are no longer locking everything you drop in them (when properly set up). Station containers cost 9k, these freight containers are taking away anywhere from 100k to 500k in rewards per mission they show up in. If CCP thinks they have to foist this junk on us as a subtle hint to "get organized" I've lost a lot of respect for them

Hey Guys,
ever thought that maybe this is the way they try to "seed" new equipment into the game? Freight containers were only just intruduced - and maybe CCP just wants them to spread onto the market by YOU selling them instead of reprocessing....?
Just a wild guess

Yeah, because every noob needs freight containers. Many of you are apparently not aware of the following: a) Freight containers sell for 75k on The Forge market. b) there are (no joke here) over 500 freight containers on the market in The Forge right now. Can you imagine how many must have been melted down (for 4500 ISK worth of minerals) or are just rusting in hangars if that many are up for sale at such miniscule prices? c) you need a billion-ISK freighter to move these things to a population center where someone -migh- buy it from you at a price making their "mission award bonus" status a total joke.
The market is freaking FLOODED with these things and there are like 238 people in the game that can even use them. Stop trying to give CCP the benefit of the doubt here and stop trying to come up with some logical reason to have them as mission rewards; there is none.

Well I'm glad to see other people think we're getting jipped on mission reward bonuses (or boni, as CCP would say).
Down with the general freight containers!
