Hi,
I have a little problem. I canŠt decide for which of these 2 ships I should skill.
The Ship would be used as a lvl 4 mission runner ship (if possible) and as a command/gang support ship. So I would fit them in two ways.
mission runner:
Damnation: 4 hvy missile launcher, 3 beam laser,armor tanked with passive hardener
Vulture: 5 hvy missile launcher, 2 rails, double passive shield tanked (passive hardener,extender, no booster)
command/gang support
Damnation: 4 hvy missile launcher, other high slots filled with more or less gang assist modules and beam laser
Vulture: Same as Damnation, but with Missile/rails instead of beam laser
Onyone with experience with one or both oh theese ships?

Why do people wanna use the damnation for lvl 4 missions?
Take a look at the bonuses.. it does as much damage as a propechy 
Its true command ship.. excellent for very large gangs.. but not for doing missions!
Absolution is the way to go, if you wanna do missions.. or .. vulture if you only wanna choose between those too i guess.

1. Absolution needs a totally different line of skills (HAC route instead of Logistic).
2. Absolution has only 1 Missile slot, not 4 like the Damnation (I like Missiles).
3. Vulture doesnŠt have more damage possibilty than a Ferox, only an additional range bonus for rails. So why should a Vulture (damage like a Ferox) be better than a Damnation (Damage like Prophecy) for missions?
4. I would like to use the command ship im lvl 4 missions because I dont want to train an additional skillset for them (Battleship/Large Weapon)if its not neccesary. Better a top notch BC/command ship captain than an mediocre in a Command ship and a Battleship (just my opinion).
So Problem not solved.

You missed the most important point, how are you gonna break the tank of the toughest lvl 4 "commanders"?
Sure you can tank alot, but what else are you gonna do?
I have no idea what bonuses the vulture has, i just guess'd it had a higher damage potential, if it isnt so, then both are crap for this purpose.

Neither ship can solo level 4's with your proposed loadouts. Heavy missiles without bonuses don't do anywhere near the damage. The only hope for soloing level 4's would be a rail vulture with alot of dmg mods (take advantage of the double range bonus) but i doubt even that would work.

Get a Damnation and train up for an Absolution. Problem solved.
