it pretty much says it in the title, I've got two accounts and I can solo 0.4 with two bc with relative ease (the only trouble is getting enough fire on the 2.5 bs to take him down, but fortunately I've always had mates around even though I was tanking the spawn).
What about 6/10?
Would/ Should I be able to do these with a tempest + remote shield boosting tempest etc etc? RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!

Have one char HEAVILY tanked and the other char with gank set up, so temp with 6 1400mm, then in the 2 remainin highs fit remote reps or shield transfers. Get tank activate gates first aggro and then gank ship activates gate.

Why do people insist on shield tanking a tempest? It's clearly made to armor tank. As in any good npc hunting ship just remember the 3 R's
Resistance - minimum 70% rat specific Recharge - anything under 300 seconds will work Repair - all you can fit and run forever
If it has more midslots shield tank, more lowslots, armor tank.

Depends on which 6/10 you mean.
Some require more firepower then others. Tanking them should never be a problem.

I've not actually taken a close look at the slot layout, but did you even READ my post? I said I had a second ship remote boosting me, as in, the first ship won't have ANY shield boosters, just lots of hardners. Have you looked at remote armour/ remote shield transfer? The remote shield transfer is WAAAAY more efficient in terms of both nrg/ unit repaired at repair per second. Not to mention the shield being insta- heal (very useful for in-gang if a friendly is getting hammered).
Anyway, Just because a ship has more low slots does not make it better at armour tanking then shield tanking. There are a lot of factors such as resists, and the purpose of the setup. Whats the point of fitting an uber tank, when I can do no damage? I'd rather put on a "good enough" shield tank and be able to fit a lot of damage mods etc... RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!

Guristas 6/10 can be solo'd by any gallente or caldari HAC without any worries, probably other hacs too. They are really easy.
I heard the sansha and blood 6/10 complexes are pretty hard (apparently the boss thingie is too tanked to kill solo?), but never done them. Vagabond sounds like the ship of choice to me, though...

I bet command ships would do pretty well in a 6/10

no. A ravel cannot solo virtually all 5/10 and above.
Reason is lack of ammo. --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE |

Yep the last guy on the 6/10 blood has a awesome tank, can be done but your going to need alot of DOT.

Actually it can. Takes about 2000-3000 cruise to finish the Guristas 6/10, and a raven can easily tank everything in there as long as it keeps its distance from the bigger spawns.

Went through a 6/10 Sansha complex with about 15 corp mates in about 5 BSs and 10 cruisers (mainly Caracals). We used a wolf to draw aggro and tank everything. It was pretty sick watching 50+ missiles/volly streak across space to toast the NPCs. It was also brutally quick. I think the longest was to get everyone to the next gate. -- Ars Caelestis Public Relations Director The Future is Exciting.
