hey guys. i am a new scorpion pilot and would like to know a good setup for a scorpion. i would like to know the skills and the items to be an effective pilot!

are scorpiions very effective in rattin in 0.0 systems? got the skills, just never had the money to use one

I used one for a while. They're effective, but quite slow to take things out. I use an Ishtar now and it's about 25 times faster.

i dont have the skills for that. i could afford a scorp, but i was unsure whther i would be wasting my money. ive actually been using a cruiser, easy enough to kill serps, but time per isk is too high

I had awful skills, actually. Ask someone who flies scorpions. A raven might be better. By the way, are you factoring insurance cost into the price? Because if you can't afford to insure it, you can't afford to fly it.

A raven is way more efficient for ratting. 50% more launcher spots without any real negative impact on your tank. Fly scorpions into PvP and use the raven to make back your losses
