Ok, I am training for the absolution as atm the i fly the zealot and the absolution looks awesome!!  will it b worth and how much dmg will i get about
my setup will consist of 6 heavy pulses with 3 dark blood heat sinks is this machine really wot its claimed to be hope people can help

They're a ***** to kill. Managed to take one out in my blasterthron, and it'd have taken at least a few minutes if it wasn't for a friendly HAC that happened to pass by and help me out. Definitely a good choice m8.

BTW...it had beams fitted. Had they been pulses, I'm not sure I could have done it. Not enough of them out yet to really tell in actual combat.

Absolution lacks the range bonus that the zealot gets, keep that in mind when you're using pulses.

Does +50% over the Zealot ... 2 more guns, given its speed you'd need beams though.

Personally iw ould say its a fantastic shipo for slow station taking or popping cans given teh fast refire but in terms of pvp its far too slow to be as effective as the zealot and you wont be able to fit a good tank with guns so its just an expensive ship to die in i would suggest a zealot instead :)

Well, dont see it as a newer version or a replacement of the zealot!
Its an entirely different ship and class, its not a solo ship, probably best used in larger gangs, but zealot is defiantly still at nice ship, and alot more agile than the absolution.

I have always thought the Absolution to be more of a beam platform than a pulse platform. Hopefully NB will get in on this and show us some graphs comparing 6x beams and 6x pulse with 3x dmg mods.
