Several missions are have multiple parts (Enemies abound 1 thru 5, Recon 1 thru 3).
There is a deadline on each mission that gives you 7 days to complete the mission.
My question is, is this the time limit for the individual stage or is this the time I have to finish all parts of a mission?
Thankyou. |

Well if you wait til the last day and then finish part one, you will gain additional time, but very little. You won't say.. get another seven days to finish part 2, no. I don't remember the exact time, but I have done that on a multi-mission bonus mission. After finishing part one on the last day, I had some two days in total to finish them all. That was scaled time, not instant two days after finishing part one, I only had like ~5hrs added to the clock or something like that finishing part 1. GÇö+¬GÇö |

Gramps Kerman wrote:So I've got two conflicting answers so far :( Well, I've never done that on a regular mission such as Recon, but that was my observation on a bonus mission... which is more or less a regular mission. I do believe it was a 10 part bonus mission too. Maybe do the next mission and see? I think I've let the last stage of recon 4 sit over night once, but never bothered to look at the clock.

Paranoid Loyd wrote:Omega is wrong Could be, it was a bonus mission. Maybe the timers are handled differently. I don't take regular missions and let them sit for a week... But bonus missions sort of just automatically get dumped on you. GÇö+¬GÇö |

There are a couple questions you could be asking:
1.) When you are offered a mission, you have a time-window to accept it. This is 7 days, and if you don't accept it, it is just like declining the mission.
2.) Once you accept a mission, you must complete it within 7 days. If you don't complete a mission you accepted, you will automatically fail the mission, which has standings penalties to the agent and corp, and possibly a loss of collateral too.
To be honest, I'm not 100% certain if it is 5 or 7 days for the accept and/or completion window.
*edit* Timers and penalties are different for Storyline, COSMOS, and Epic Arc missions. |

7 days is the correct time.
So, accept the mission and you have a few hours (with level 4's) to complete the mission to get the bonus reward. You have 7 days after accepting the mission to complete it and after that the agent "gets angry" and sends you a nasty mail about how disappointed they are with you and you loose some standing.
Should also mention that if you decline a mission you cant decline anymore until 4 hours later unless you willing to accept the standing loss.
And yes, the time limit is for each stage of the mission, so you could finish part one, then wait a week and finish part 2, then wait a week and finish part 3 and so on Phoibe Enterprises official recruitment thread The Eve Reader - -áAudio Recordings of Eve Chronicles

Basically, what I wanted to know is if I could drag out a multi-part mission say "Enemies abound" over 5 weeks (7 days for each step) or if it had to be completed as a group in 7 days. |

You can spread it out. |
