Char has a full set of +3 implants plus various hardwirings (for guns and ships). This is the original set of implants from when they first came out.
Owns a number of ships (Geddon, Zealot, Sac, Crusader, Malediction etc) and boat load of mods scattered about
Work commitments entail that i cannot play EVE that much anymore and a recent in game incident has left a bitter taste in my mouth. i.e. i have given up on EVE
i have a reserve set (private) and if i dont get it then the char will go into hibernation

It's sad that not doing anything but checking for a bpo can get you 40 bil after a year, and a character with nearly 3 years of nonstop skill training will prolly only get 1/4th of that.

To give to his friends? I know that if I were giving up EVE forever, I'd either give them my char, or all my belongings.
Also, if you are implying that he's gonna sell it on Ebay (which I think you are), then your logic is seriously flawed, as a character like that will get you far more money (and cause far less hassle), than selling isk will.
Also, do not troll in other people's post please.

I can't speak for the seller but I would think that he won't have a buyout on this character so the auction will just run its course. As he mentioned earlier, work commitments mean he won't be back till the weekend (unless he can sneak on a computer somewhere to check the forum).
If your interested then its probably best to just stick a bid in.

Maybe I missed it, but when does this auction end? How can I know when to be at my computer for the last 5 hours of the auction to outbid all the people who try to outbid me if I dont know when that last 5 hours will be?
Will you just randomly announce at some point that the auction is now over and the guy who happened to make the last bid is the winner?
Or, which is what I'd suggest, you annouce 48 hours before the end of the auction the exact time it will end, so that everyone whos been following this can have enough time to hear the news and miss work that day etc...
Twould only be fair, aye? And it would allow the max number of people to bid, meaning you will get the max amount of isk out of it in the end...

As explained, it would have been created damn near the first days of EVE when WillPower was the main PVP attribute. Just so you know.
Again, free bump for an amazing character. Wish more old players, like you, would not be driven from the game. My only hope is that the reserve is not met, and you keep training the hibernated character until you get the lust for EVE again. PVP usually gives me the Blood-lust back, but I don't know your situation.

If i recall correctly, there was only 1 skill in gunnery, which had wp as primary. Its surgical strike. Others - were perc \ wp. At least i`m unable to recall others. I created my main in august 2003, this is my second, or third incarnation in this game (2 previous were testing chars. And i created this char with highest perc possible in-game, just because of gunnery \ spaceship).
Anyways, this char is awesome, and capable of doing many tasks. Bump.

...what? Even worse than not being able to prove it, I dont even see how you could justify having such a random and weird position. People sell characters for isk ALL THE TIME. Are all of them "counting on the odds that" their characters will be bought by "a time card tycoon, or an ebay specialist."?
Even if your mixed up accusial was true, that the original poster secretly hopes an "ebayer" or "time card tycoon" buys his account, SO FREAKING WHAT? Is it illegal to hope some rich guy buys your account? Ban the ebayer, not the auction.

So what? Are you saying he cant sell his char becasue he has a lot of SP? Where is the logic in that? You are one paranoid **** to assume that just because someone is selling his character he is hoping an ebayer buys it. I dont even see the connection. I dont even began to see the screwed up logic that must be running through your mind.
He is an eve player.
He is trying to sell his char for isk.
This is legal.
What is your problem?

I think his problem is fairly simple:
He doesnt have 41mill SP, and wants this character. He doesnt have enough ISK, and the only way he sees to make this much ISK is by buying it on EBay or by selling GTC.
How clueless can one get.

tbh this is the fourth dread character/high SP character sale that I know of that has had something extremely similar happen to it where the seller doesn't wait till the end of the auction and sells up believing what they get in game is better than the forum offer.
You can't blame them for wanting to get the most for their character but it is a joke when no in-game bids are accepted and then on the last day they are.
Given the interest in the character, I'm sure they'd be better off waiting to see what the auction ends at and then accepting the in game offer if it's better because tbh the players that play by the rules the auctionee lays down are obviously getting screwed over.
Perhaps in future if people would entitle their threads, 'fake auction just to attract annoymous in game bids' we'd all be better off.

The last 7 days i have been watching this action and sold out in all my mods, ships and shares. I really wanted to bid on your character and i was willing to bid 7-8.5 billion. My strategi was to wait until the last minute and bid and hopeful i would be winning this juvel.
Can you tell me why you did put this character on the forum. I beleve you did read the rules before doing so. You really disapoint me, you have been making a foul of all of us who have been bidding and watching this scam for days.
I am sorry but i have to create a petition for this, this cant be true that you break the rules and make your own, you did stop the bidding 2 hours before end time. I most admit i really fell like a foul, because i spended time on a scam like this.
You did wrote in your first post...a recent in game incident has left a bitter taste in my mouth. i.e. i have given up on EVE...
How do you beleave most of US feel now, do you beleave some of us have the feeling like we were attacked with a knife in the bag. Yes i understand now how it feels like to have a bad taste in my mouth.

I hope the winner realizes, that he is the worst businessman in the world. I hope MrMojo also realizes that he also is a daft businessman; if he had posted the in-game offer, someone might have outbid that offer. I could understand this, if this happened 5-7 days ago, but closing an auction 2 hours before, due to some in-game offer just shows that its no accident that you leave Eve with a bitter taste in your mouth. It just shows you have brains the size of a peanut, and decency and honor on par with a snake.

duh, obviously someone offered him cash. what the hell did you think he was gonna do with the isk anyway? like he said hes quitting. that is the only reason to be selling a character like this, turn time spent on the game into cash and quit happy. hopefully karma gets him or the buyer, and ccp catches them and bans the account, then maybe the buyer will sue him or something.
