Alerion Corporation believes in GÇ£Slow and steady wins the race,GÇ¥ which forms the cornerstone of our long-term goals. We've carefully structured our corporation into individual Divisions, so that in the future those distinct Divisions will easily become subsidiary corporations to their parent corporation Alerion. This is vital because Alerion's ultimate objective is establishing our sovereignty in nullspace and wormhole space.
Sound ambitious? It is. And it requires pilots and future officers who are determined and focused, and who understand that such a challenge isn't achieved overnight.
Every great, successful Empire began by establishing a firm foundation, and Alerion is no exception, and our foundation is our miners/harvesters and mission runners. Mining and mission running are two of the key elements to any successful corporation, and ours is no exception. They provide the steady income of resources our other divisions need to function and, in turn, expand and grow. Because of that our requirements for miners/harvesters, and mission runners, are quite detailed. And because we require professionalism from our pilots, in return we give them the respect they deserve.
- Are you new? No problem. We were all new once. As long as you're willing to pitch in and pull your weight you'll be welcome. There are no GÇ£n00bsGÇ¥ here.
- Are you an old hand? Perhaps a solo pilot still in your original NPC corporation, or a HighSec-only miner? You've the experience, and resolve, we're looking for. Let others mock and call you GÇ£CarebearGÇ¥; in Alerion, you're a valued member of our corporation.
Alerion is Caldari-based, with our main base located at Tasabeshi. We currently operate primarily in HighSec but will be expanding to LowSec and W-Space very soon. Pilots can be of any race, bloodline or ancestry. However, because we are Caldari-based we require that pilots run only Caldari or Amarr agent missions, so that our corporation standings do not suffer.
We are not a PvP Corp. Nevertheless, while we don't go looking for fights, we absolutely will engage aggressors when necessary, especially in defense of our indies.
Respect plays a large role in Alerion, both inside and outside the corporation. Because of that we have in place a formal PvP & Public Appearance Policy that our pilots are required to follow:
- PvP aggression ROE (Rules Of Engagement)
*K-Space (Known Space): PvP aggression in K-Space (1.0 GÇô 0.1) is NRDS (Not Red Don't Shoot). PvP aggression against a non-criminal pilot is strictly prohibited for all but the most extreme cases. Do not, under any circumstances, initiate an act of aggression against another, non-criminal, pilot in K-Space. A criminal-flagged pilot may be freely engaged at your discretion.
>In HighSec (1.0 GÇô 0.5) permit CONCORD to engage the aggressor.
>In LowSec (0.4 GÇô 0.1) if you are fired upon you may return fire.
*NullSec Space (0.0): NullSec Space PvP is unrestricted. Any target may be engaged.
*W-Space (Wormhole): W-Space PvP is unrestricted. Any target may be engaged.
- Public Appearance in EVE goes a long way, and we want Alerion to be viewed as a professional and respectable corporation. If you are found talking trash in Local or any other public or private channel, or are harassing another pilot, your actions will be brought to the Administration and a sentence will be given and carried out by our Disciplinary Committee.

*Our Ore Buy-Back Program allows miners to mine anywhere in K-Space (1.0 - 0.5) and we will purchase the ore you mine at Jita's current buy order price less the 15% Corporate tax rate. So even if you mine in an area where ore is worth less, you can still turn a nice profit, and you don't have to move the ore anywhere to sell it.
Mining Division, mission runners:
Purchase Assistance for skill books, ships, and modules
Free relocation to Tasabeshi, or a nearby system, for all of your items and ships
Ship Reimbursement (for lost ships)
Salvage Buy-Back Program*
*Our Salvage Buy-Back Program is similar to our Ore Buy-Back Program. There is no need for you to place salvaged items on the market and wait for them to be sold. We will purchase salvaged items at Jita's current buy order price less the 15% Corporate tax rate.
All new Alerion members are immediately entitled to our free relocation service, as well as participation in mining operations and mission running. All pilots, new and old, should feel free to ask for help, advice, training and mentoring. All remaining benefits become available after a variable probationary period (usually between 2 GÇô 4 weeks).
And finally, we realize many pilots have dual, or even triple career paths, so members are not limited to working for a single division of the corp.

Hello,
Does your corp run any regular weekly mining ops? Do you have a POS or offer research services? Do you dabble in WH or exploration? On a Wednesday evening at 8:00pm eastern, how many of your members would I find online and mining? What goal is your corp currently working towards?

Hello Volar, and thank you for your interest in Alerion! I'm sorry it took me a while to respond, but RL can be a beech sometimes.
These are very good questions, and hopefully you'll find the answers just as good! 
Weekly Mining Ops - Yes, we're in the process of getting our mining ops back up to speed, but we do try to run at least 1 op per week. Our current goal in op frequency is to run 2-3 mining ops each week as our ranks keep growing.
POS - No, we don't currently have a POS for research services, but we're not far off from having that again. We used to live in WH and would research BP's for our members, but we had to shut it down due to lack of fuel support. We want to find a better WH with more sustainable PI before we drag out our large POS and modules again.
WH & Exploration - Yup, we love doing that. WH life is exciting and rewarding. We're currently seeking pilots with good WH knowledge to help us secure a more sustainable system.
Activity - I'd say you'd find a few members at least, and as mentioned earlier we're working on expanding our Mining Op schedule to include more timezones so you would most likely be able to participate in at least 1 op a week if you're logging in at that time.
Current Goal - Our current main goal is to continue growing in members. We hit a bad period of inactivity and needed some time to recover before the gears start turning again. We've gained a lot of great pilots and hope to continue doing so over the next few weeks. Once we have a solid grasp on activity, we will begin moving onto our next goals of complete world domination. ;)

Your corp looks interesting to me. I am keen to do PVE. However, only have high standings with Minmatar Security, would that be a problem? Do you have many AU TZ members.
