A friend and I are having a discussion and I wondering if I can get input from someone that might have actually tried this. Can a carrier enter a complex? Specifically a 10/10?

One thing to mention though, to my knowledge, Fighters refuse to attack anything in a 0.4 system. So if you are trying to do a complex in 0.4, fuggettaboutit.
No fighters in 0.4 = lame IMHO. I guess you could use heavy drones or sentrys. But then you wouldn't get any drone bonuses as Carriers only give bonuses to Fighters. Lame.

No but complexes have WARP gates not JUMP gates so i would assume the fighters follow due to them warping with the gang mate

They do.
Sending carriers themselves into complexes is counerproductive. It would take you three times as long to do the complex as without them since they are so damn slow.

If you are using a Carrier to NPC in a 0.4 system, a GM should set your clone to the basic one and pod you, just for that blasphemy. Same goes for mining captial ships.
