eveceo1	Posted - 2006.03.27 18:26:00 - [1] I know that the moderators do a great job on these forums and that their job is quite difficult at times but id like to request a small thing. We have all seen BoB and certain other 'groups' of people on this forum derail, flame and generally try their damndest to get a thread locked so id like to request a reply from the moderator team to the following question. Alot of threads that start out as general news threads get turned into a complete and utter trash-talking-flame-pit by a select few people, mostly BoB members, so what id like to request from the moderators is, rather than locking the thread, why not delete the flames from the BoB members and warn them? Why not take a harsher frame of mind towards people who do it (obviously intentionally). I expect this thread to have the same fate as most threads that BoB sink their forum-fangs into but i hope that a moderator has enough time to read and responde. If you don't like reading it, don't, but don't try to lecture others about what is right or wrong to post on these forums. Moderators can do that just fine without your expert opinion.

Nothing wrong with people expressing themselves, but pointless namecalling is not very nice and people should be banned for that, pretty sad that some players get away with such things imho

Posting opinions and the like in other threads is what this forum is for. well, a question: when is a opinion a whine and when a legit contribution to a discussion?? atm, most of the discussions here end in complaints about whining. but those "whines" often are legit arguments from an unbiased point of view .. best example for this was the d7/guristas thread .. a G guy was complaining about the guristas ... the first few pages were in someways interesting - but then started something like a whining/whining about whining/smacking campaign ... both sides were involved - but one certain side was a bit extreme ... i think you know the one i mean who are the one to blame for a flamebait? those who ask a "stupid" question or those who flame??

Remove alt posts, make people culpable to their actions and you would probably find these forums a nicer place to reside. By targeting BoB in your post you lost ALL moral high ground, how DARE you presume to tell people what they can and/or cannot read. You are no better than an alt yourself in this respect.
