If we talk about fun, then use Ventures.. a lot of them. Those ships are real fun to fly and fight.. not to mention that they are very cheap, so loosing them is not a big deal. A Catalyst fleet vs a Ventures fleet is just awesome, most probably more and more people will join the fun if these events are planned and organized well. And perma WD each other, so there will be no Concord interference nor sec drop.

The only problem I see here is the very nature of the miners, they prefer to just float between the rocks and whine if somebody interfere with their mining cycle. Change this attitude and you may write history... New Order already did.

The idea of the replacement fund is people who get ganked by New Order get a mail from James saying why they lost the ship, if we use new orders killboards to verify the mails we'll replace or reimburse people as best we can with what we have. Im trying get an auditor to verify what we do so its all transparent and above board.

That's all well and good, but are you planning to fund it by mining indefinitely? Surely, you've thought of a way to make it a self-sustained operation?

Its constantly evolving, I dont want to say give us stuff or pay us, as then we're no better than New Order. If people want to give time thats fantastic, if they want to form coalitions and mine together awesome. I'm not asking for anything but anything given wont be refused for the cause.

See, that's a major issue. How much ships will you be able to replace? Ten? Twenty? There's only so much you can do like that. If you really want to scale the operation you will need other revenue streams. After all, CODE. is almost entirely funded through investments. If you start up a ship replacement program based entirely on goodwill, you will get crushed.

I'm open to any help and or ideas.

For too long the so called GÇ£New OrderGÇ¥ and the pathetic GÇ£The New Halaima Code of ConductGÇ¥, have been used to scare and gank innocent players just because they want to mine. Forcing them to pay GÇ£Mining IndulgencesGÇ¥ and ganking them anyway.


Every time someone has tried to combat them they fail because they are everywhere and nowhere. They are mostly in NPC Corps flying frigates and destroyers which can be used against mining ships with great effect. This is all about making ganking seem more lawful and legitimate, whilst James 315 and his absurd title of GÇ£Supreme Protector of Halaima and Saviour of HighsecGÇ¥ makes all the isk and keeps it for himself.



So what can we do about it? As previously mentioned we canGÇÖt fight them, or threaten them as theyGÇÖre shadows. So our plan is to help those targeted by them, in the very system the code was originally named afterGǪ
