Then again a n00b is a sort of honorary title, since yer not spoiled yet and ya actually communicate with people still in a normal manor and don't feel the need to call other people names for making mistakes. Means after some weeks (maybe few months), you automatically stop beeing a noob. Although, some players use it for anyone who is not better or at least as good as they are. ("Yeah, kicked your ass with 10% hull remaining. You NOOOOB!") My favourite use of the word is for anyone who talks about the game without having a clue of what he says. For example, if my former CEO said "Lol Ravens are crap for PvP" and in reality it's one of the most used ships, he's still a n00b, although playing for over a year. Another example for that would be a person who says that doing missions is automatically noobish. I know a player who plays since almost the beginning, is founder and head of an alliance and still does missions. If he is still a noob, then ... o_0 -- This game is still in beta stage

PvP'ers needs to make some isk to afford ships and equipment.. and alot of people is either mission running or npc'ing in belts when not pvp'ing..

Hardin	Posted - 2006.03.29 13:13:00 - [46] You never stop being an eejit. 2 out of last 3 ships I lost were down to stupidity/drunkeness First, decided to take an Apoc down to visit my good friends in the Ushra'Khan. It was a 15 jump trip without bookies in a slow arse ship. As it was a backwater route didnt expect to encounter any troubles so decided to go afk for 10 mins to watch a little TV as I flew. Next thing I wake up on the couch, its 5am and light is coming in the windows. I can hear my computer on in the background... Hmmm sitting in a station back in Amarr... Ouch... Second (just two days ago), was shooting a Minmatar terrorist in another Apoc (freshly kitted) in front of sentries in Gemodi (low sec). Anyway I got flagged and the terrorist fled. I decided to sit at a safe while I played another game (Hearts of Iron II) for a while. Anyway kinda got into that and completely forgot that EVE was still running underneath. Anyway I went to bed leaving computer on with HOII auto running a campaign... Got up next morning to close comp down before work and bloody hell I am sitting in a pod... obviously the person who found my safe and killed my ship either didnt want the sec hit for blowing my pod in low-sec or had some mercy So there you go... been playing since Day 1 and still losing ships stupidly... --------------------------------- Smiting pirates and terrorists since Sept 2003
