About bounties being broken: well YEAH, but its gonna be hard or impossible to fix for CCP.
The reason is that *******s (such as most online gamess have) use more time trying to find a way to get undeserved advantages from the game than actually enjoying it in the spirit its meant to be played... (yes that is read: "exploit"..) So there will always be people out there to find new ways to ruin a developers idea of a game. Two very known ones in EVE that comes to mind are:
- Bounty system.
- Insta bookmarks.
Bounties would be great if people didnt abuse it with OOC (out of character) knowledge like having real world friends collect it and such.
And instas? Well, lets just say that exploit is so widely used its not even seen as an exploit. But it IS circumventing the rules made by the developers, and also a thing Oveur (head developer of EVE?) has said that he hates with a passion. Still, he doesnt want to take it away before they can address the issue of balancing the travel time without them and the near invulnerability while instajumping against each other to a reasonable degree.
I dont remember the exact topic in which Oveur posted this opinion of his, and i cant be bothered finding it now. (yeah im lazy, sue me ) But im sure if enough retards start critizing/flaming me for "making up my own facts" i will go to the bother of linking to it sooner or later.. or i might just be annoyed and ignore them all. 
But seriously, it annoys me as hell when people try to circumvent the spirit of rules in a game made for them to have fun. In single player games, do what the hell you want. In multiplayer games, show a little courtesy to the rest of the people who try to have fun.
Thats why i mostly stopped playing Battlefield 2. The good rounds were entertaining as hell, but the bad ones (spawn camping uncapturable bases, a squad of support people hiding in weird places lobbing grenades constantly at spawn points for 10 minutes..) ****ed me off. And when the bad ones occur 75% of time or more, its not worth my time in the end.
Oh well, this almost(?) turned into a rant. I'll stop now..

I agree. Its sad when its "cool" to use all day in your real life to PLAY a game online. But if you do the same thing and roleplay the character you are playing in the game, you are a "loser".
Wake up, its no more "cool" to play a game at all than it is "uncool" to play a role in a game. Its both done for entertainment, and people can do what the **** they like

Yet an other useless thread.. to get bounty you need to earn it.. To earn it you need to kill alot of stuff to kill alot of stuff you need to do it with a ship to get a ship you need to have isk to have isk you need to do boring stuff.. or buy gamecards..
