What must I do, that the time displayed in EVE corresponds to my local time? Changing my account settings doesn't have an effect. Since the change to summertime last weekend, the problem has gone worse: Instead of 1 hour difference between my local time and EVE-time, they are now 2 hours apart. I live in Switzerland (GMT +1).
Can anyone help please? |

EVE time is GMT time, it is completly seperate from your system clock. CCP have no intention to change this, as it is the original design to run it from GMT time. Also, Iceland is GMT, and the UK has entered BST (British Summer Time), so technicaly, we're the wrong time zone, not them.
Whole reason EVE is set to one time, is so people can just say "20:00 eve time", and everyone understand straight away what is meant, no faffing about with "is that like 4 am in the morning for me?!"

AAAAAAAAAaahhhhhhhhhh that makes sense now
Build a man a fire, keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire keep him warm for the rest of his life. |

I don't mind the concept of one time for everyone...but at least give me the option to add a second clock with my local time. Would save me from having to ALT-TAB to see what time it is.

Simple solution - Set desktop to 1152x862, set EVE to run windowed at 1024x768. Unless you want it bigger, in which case adjust dimensions accordingly -- Olenir Theadorvin, Views expressed within the forum do not necessarily represent those of the corporation. Even simpler solution: Buy a watch

I am GMT and eve time still out by an hour! I have a watch but it would be handy to just glance down and see the correct time. Oh and CCP remove the damn 10k userlimit before I have seizures god damn it!

No, EVE time is GMT. If you are in disagreement then you are not in a GMT Timezone. Note that British Summer Time (BST) is GMT+1, GMT itself does not change. -- Olenir Theadorvin, Views expressed within the forum do not necessarily represent those of the corporation.
