It would be nice to be able to set up a keyboard shortcut to warp to a bookmark.
On the bookmark could a shortcut option you can use to configure a key to be used as a warp to bookmark keyboard shortcut.

Didn't think much of this when I first read it. However on reflection this is damn useful... You would want something generic like auto warp to planet 1 or something like that unless you stay in the same system a single BM is of no value. But an autowarp will then allow you time to warp to the SS you are thinking about.
This would have been great for me the other day when a ship decloaked 146km away- passive targetted me and my frig was gone... an autowarp might have saved me... this is logical if you think about it, if you were actually flying a ship you would want something like this that you react to instinctively in case of trouble...

Its the same kind of reason I thought of it, would be nice to act quicker than mouse control allows, maybe this is the way CCP like it, the quickest of the draw so to say, how fast can you manouver your mouse over menus to select the right option :|
A keyboard shortcut always does the trick in a jiffy than any menu driven system.
If your mining or ratting, you want to be able to have the option to escape quicker than the menu allows.

set your autopilot when your mining or ratting, and stay aligned to the gate, then if a pirate warps in just hit the autopilot button. i know it is possible to get you at the gate, obviously but if you act fast you've got a higher chance of making it through, before they have time to warp after you.
not saying that your original idea is bad, just suggesting something in the meantime

Its a good work around while nothing else is available, though it will be highly dependent on the situation.
