I recently started looking into invention, specifically ship invention.
I noticed, that it takes way longer to for the research part (copy + invention) than to manufactur the ship from the resulting T2 BPC. The use of certain decryptors can bring the two times closer but still it won't fit, forcing me to manufacture some T1 stuff on the side, to make efficient use of my manufacturing slots.
And yes, this "T1 stuff on the side" can be the components needed to built the T2 ships, but I was wondering if there is a way so I can non-stop fill my manufacturing slots with T2 jobs (with only using self produced BPCs and not buying additional ones from other people).

Train a second or maybe even third character. Getting one only with the industry skills takes about 2-3 months. About one to get the basic T1 manufacturing skills all up, and 2 more for the science skills for T2 to 3 and the T2 ship manufacturing skills.
A single invention char with skills at 3 or 4 (the latter is better, all relevant skills to 4 takes about a month) can easily supply 2 manufacturing characters, including himself. If you have one character copying, and one inventing, you should be able to close the gap between both, and keep your manufacturing lines running almost 24/7. |

copy alts, or find someone to sell you a steady supply of copies. If you're looking to actually run more than 11 invention jobs, I think thats a bit tougher.
