would be cool to paint the ship in the colours u like get ur corp logo on it and so on
best make it as good as the char making would be a great adition to peoples feelings for thier ships

Again, it's an idea that has been discussed and approved (by players) many times.
First of all, ship coulouring (obviously),
then, Corporation Logo imprints on the hull (i especialy love this one   ).
Now, i know that The Holy Devs have given their oppinion about that, but this feature isn't in the Planned Features nor in the In Development updates.
So, may The Holy Devs give us their opinion on the question ?

In the beta is was possible to paint a logo on your ship, there was even a paintshop option although it was very limited, its one of the things that is impossible but has been kept on the back burner sins beta.
I would like to see though that your colour of your armor changed slightly if you mounts extra hullplates or changes at certain area's. It would not totally personalise the players ship but it would be easier to implement cause of the limit sorts of armor and ships, it would be a question of textures that change slighty. Certainly easier then making it so everyone can have their own skill.

Id also love if you could put the icon of your empire on the hull, so if your flying anything, you can immediately see, that its an Amarr ship or whatever.

I would enjoy being able to have my corp. logo on my ship =D That would be a really nice imporvment =P

These ideas are all welll and good, so long as their implementation did not affect server performance or bandwidth use.
Personally i put visuals as low priority...
