Alright i read the very helpful getting started sticky, but my biggest question is....
How do I approach a Pirate corporation about joining? Most of the time when there are pirates in a system i have to try and dodge them and im not really able to have an in depth conversation with them. I would love to get started down this road but I would like a little help in the beggining.

Open convo with one them. Quickest way to start to talk with one of them. --- Murder Murder, yes indeed, K-I-L-L-I-N-G

You would probably have to take one down, which willbe hard.
Then you'll have to face the fact they are going to kill you a few times after that.
Then you have to refrain from smack and flames, and stay cool in local.
If you're lucky, they'll then let you fly with them.

Sanguine Legion accepts new players, or new pirates - but when we are in a war, recruitment ends, unless you have a strong recommendation by an existing member that has known you since before the war began. Pilots older than the playable Khanid race by any significant margin won't be allowed in for the forseeable future.
If you still have the faction to allow you to do so, stop by Chaven and put in an application. When the current war is over, your application will be considered. If you do not, send an email to Fuqu and ask him to let you know when applications will be considered.
We aren't the most experienced pirates, but as we learn, you will learn. It's a huge adrenalin rush when you kill a battleship with a bunch of frigates :) It's also a huge rush when 10 frigates fly into pieces when 7 large smartbombs go off all at once around them, heh.
We have financial support as well, and help our new EVE players keep up with their losses, so long as they stick to frigates and inexpensive gear. Longer term EVE players are free to use whatever they can afford - just don't whine when it pops. |

I joined a well known pirate corp after one of them shot me down and I started a convo with them. I enjoyed the experinece, we both laughed, compared our respective side of the story and how I got away.... and through my friendlyness, he invited me to join up.
Have a good attitude and the doors in Eve fly open.
