ssi pay for advertising, which eve needs.
ssi the marketing giant was supposed to step up and get 10k ppl into eve at all times. they were supposed to use viacom out the ass and put up billboards in ppl's houses.
wtf.

if im thinking correctly, Viacom own SSI, they also own Sierra and Blizzard.
They are getting shut of all of them, its not specific to SSI or CCP, Viacom are simply getting out of the games industry.
Of course, i may have slightly bent facts, so dont quote me

Viacom is crap, well ok maybe not, but blockbuster is, and viacom owns blockbuster... God I hate that place... and if you need to ask why, just go apply for a job at one... Any of them near where I live, and work thier for over 1 year. Oh yeah people with any self respect need not apply... Otherwise they will stomp the self respect out of you in every way possible.
To blockbuster, it's not just a video store... It's a church of satan...
Anyway I really hope this doesn't mean the end of EVE in some way... It's just starting to get frigging interesting with missing features finaly starting to loom near in the distance...
I mean it's just getting worth the $12.95/Mo. again... I hope it doesn't die on us...

well, now all the money will be going to CCP and not SSI in part. Personally I thought they did a ****ty job of advertising anyhow.
