These don't expire, Had one out for 6 months with out visiting, checked on it right before the patch and it with it''s one kernite was still there. But after the patch I went to a storage safe, and none of the cans where there. Thought maybe someone found the site but checked on my cans in other systems, all gone. One in jita also gone. Most of the cans where empty but one did have about 50 mill worth in it.

Maybe one or two sites were found, highly unlikely though, but not all of them over 20 systems in 4 different regions. If CCP thought this was a faulty game play style they should have stated it was going to be removed. People in WH must have lost a lot more than I. Just seems CCP is making the small guy less effective.

Lost non-secure containers that were present in space cannot be reimbursed. Non-anchored containers will be destroyed during downtime if they are still present at that time. As mentioned by somebody else in this thread containers that aren't anchored were never meant to last beyond downtime, seems like they either knowingly fixed it without mentioning, or a recent patch fixed it accidentally.
