I stumbled across the internet radio station Split Infinity Radio yesterday after seeing someone in local with the same corp name. Curiosity got to me so I checked it out and found that there's a vote going on called the Wasabi Awards, kind of like www.mmorpg.com's, but with little representation from the Eve fanbase. EvE isn't mentioned in all categories, but it is losing the battle of best PvP and best graphics award to Guild Wars and WoW by a landslide. Blasphemy, I know... So I tried to help out by voting for everything EvE related that I felt was warranted. Perhaps we can round up a few more votes for EvE and show the rest of those contenders EvE is a force to be reckoned with!

Any competition that has WoW winning a PvP catagory is really a joke.
Im not the anti-WoW type that some people here are and Im not an EEE fanboi(but I do like EVE), but WoW's PvP is terrible. Many games beside EVE have far better PVP than WOW.
Wherever you went - here you are.

Was watchin my brother and his wife in a lil pvp in WOW and noticed it has 0 risk. They risk nothing, and they lose nothing.
They die then they get back up and fight again...

Only thing that annoys me with WoW PvP is the long BG ques(sometimes 1hr+ for AB/WSG for example) on my server, But once your in its quite fun except when you enter a BG with randoms vs a proper guild group. :)
You do lose money in WoW but mainly in PvE instance raiding if your all epic'd up, if your like me and hate the boring grind grind for gold, it can be very costly with repair costs. But at the end of the day, I don't think thats much of a set back compared to what I've experienced so far in Eve when you die etc.
I've yet to try Eve PvP, so can't really comment. :(

Hey peeps.. this is aMUSiC from Split Infinity Radio. First, thanks BellyFat for pimping this. I didn't want to do it as everyone would say I'm biased towards EVE.. (well they wouldn't lie but stil..). I kinda feel cornered as I'm the only one on the station playing EVE right now (but I'm doing my best to get the other DJs into it). I cast my vote for EVE in all nominated categories but I could use a little help.. cause EVE rocks hard in all aspects.. and it deserves to get all the awards. EQ2, City of Heroes/Villains and Matrix online are pimping the nominations like crazy and well.. they have the lead in their respective categories..
Hm.. maybe I'll switch my dancing Wednesdays show to an all out EVE dedicated show..
