I was in Syndicate earlier today. Was pretty quiet.
Yes, it is very profitable and pretty quiet to NPC in alliance claimed space. Just stay out of any of the highway systems and NPC in some backwater system out in the boonies.
If they message you don't let them scare you if they tell you to get off "their land". Most alliances usually can't bother mustering up four or five other guys to try and chase down a single NPCer in some far away system. Plus if things get too hot you can always log off.
Just from my experience when going out to hunt in 0.0 in my Arbitrator.

Edited by: Naoise on 01/04/2006 03:05:06 I was thinking of paying them a fee, and then not worrying if they will attack me or not. but your idea seems to be cheaper, so might try that.
Thanks.

Don't pay, it's usually cheaper to replace the lost stuff than to pay any ransom or fee.
Be polite, and courteous. show them some respect, they have afterall managed to claim and keep an area as their own.
Find out who claims the system you are interested in, and ask if you can go. sometimes they will even go with or send someone to gang with you. Can be a good way to make some powerful friends
Provenance Security is Recruiting - convo or mail me if interested.

Syndicate isn't alliance claimed space...
Most alliance claimed space has no stations for you to dock and reload at/drop your loot. Thus, its completely impossible to effectively NPC there.
Now in NPC claimed space, yes, its quite possible.

My corp currently has an agreement of sorts with some folks. Not sure if its a paid for thing. But the general rule is providing you help clean out the pirate menace and are courteous (you may find a system has a few pos's in with friendly people in, but they may wish to do NPCing and you could be taking their targets) its good :)
I'd advise looking in alliance forums to look for a public channel, and try asking there :) ----- If you kill all the wolves, your gonna end up with a crapload of bunnies, and by bunnies I mean stupid people |

My alliance charges approx 100mil/week per corp. This may be a bad deal if you're a 1-man corp, but for a 100-man corp, it's not so much. Contribute to the Eve Wiki |

Tsk tsk trying to get a cheap kill? y9g is pritty much one of the second busiest priate spots in syndicate, mainly cus BRS and NSBI moved into the system of later BRS's has been running the 10/10 serp shipyard in the system nextdoor (UTKS), plus its part of a region bottleneck for moving into syndicate.
