So, I did some number crunching using DOTLAN and Dingo's Toolbox, trying to estimate the size of the two Super-Coalitions involved in this war. I included Legion of xXDEATHXx and some other small southeast alliances as N3 allies, but not Test Alliance or Providence Bloc since their involvement was very brief.
By my estimates the CFC + Allies side has over 50,500 members representing more than 8,100 additional renters. Totaling about 1,300 systems.
The PL/N3 and Allies side has about 26,600 members representing more than 11,100 additional renters. Totaling about 950 systems.
This is after a few weeks of systems trading hands, and systems are likely to continue falling into the hands of CFC Allies.
If my numbers are remotely accurate, the CFC/RUS side represents about 55% more members than the PL/N3 side, yet only control about 35% more Sovereignty when counting rental space.
TL/DR: It's about time PL/N3 gave up some of their excess space so that the CFC/RUS alliances can have some breathing room.
