I'm so tired of opening cans and clicking and dragging the items into my cargo bay. It bothers me further that, in a screen battling for space with bookmarks, Local channels, corp channels, people created channels, overlay displays etc, that I have to keep a "my cargo" window open, clik open a cargo container and clik and drag. My fingers are going numb when I sleep.
Please tell me I have overlooked an easier streamlined method of looting cans.
Wouldn't it be nice to have some sort of "auto loot" where you merely had to fly within a certain radius of a can?
One day I got into a frigate and acted as "loot guy" for a high lvl friend... oh joy. Words cannot describe the fun I had.
I have seen the Arctic Circle... And it is round. |

Right-click, select all + drag.

there should be "loot all" -button next to open container

You can place stuff into your cargo by dragging it out of the loot can and onto the open cargo button. No need to keep a 'My Cargo' window open at all times. That, and rightclick-select all-drag from the loot can make the entire thing a pretty quick procedure.
Only problem with looting is the time it takes to move between cans, really.

In Kali they are introducing "wrecks" & "salvaging" or I think they are. Perhaps a specialised "Salvage Barge"? With 20k Hold, +3 Trageting Bounus (3 Extra Targets + Skills), 7 High Slots and a 150% bonus to a Tractor beam Strenth/Speed/Range? That would be lovelly, 300 cans could be sweeped up in no time!
New Time Sink, New ISK Sink, and we get an ugly barge for draging stuff. Everyone happy.
