How does the asteroid belts restock with new asteroid? How much time it take?
If i take one particular asteroid, will this particular one respawn, with the same amount of mineral inside?

I believe it respawns as a tiny little roid with a tiny bit of ore in it, and then grows up over the course of several weeks, eventually topping out to be the glorious hulk of its former existence.
And if I remember correctly, asteroid respawn is being changed? Can someone verify this?

I don't think anyone really knows - the best you will get is a semi-educated guess.
AFAIK the roids will have grown each day after the server comes back up. If mining has been done in that belt then an equivalent amount that has been mined out is replaced (but not necessarily in the same types of roid - so you could mine 100 units of Scordite but the belt might replace it with 100 Units of Veldspar instead).
I could be horribly wrong about this - and I hope someone will correct me if I am - but I think that's roughly how it works.

That wouldn't account for the belts that are clearly not being mined at all.
More likely is that the belts "grow" by a specific amount each day, whether mined or not.

I realise I wasn't specific about this, but that was what I meant by saying "AFAIK the roids will have grown each day after the server comes back up."
I should have explained it in more detail but that would have meant more typing :P

I believe that the roids grow everytime minerals get released in something like a 'mineral pool' when a ship gets destroyed or minerals are sold to npc-corps or something like that. Those minerals should be distributed over the new astroids, i'm not exactly sure about it myself tho

and just how big can they get? some belts in 0.0 are starting to look more like walls than collections of stones
