Hi everyone just purchased EVE, everything worked OK for approx. 1 hour then all the text in the game is now unreadable?

That is very strange indeed. Unreadable text is known to occur for one of two reasons:
1) On a Nvidia based card, your mipmap rendering quality is too low. To fix this, right click on your desktop, select properties, settings, click on the "advanced" button. Then, find the tab with the name of your gfx board (for instance, Geforce 4 MX440), select "Direct3D settings", and find the performance slider/menu for mipmapping quality. Set it to high quality.
2) If that doesn't work, or if you don't have a Nvidia based gfx board, enter the game, press ESC for the options menu, select the second tab (graphics) and find the texel alignment slider. shift it left and right until the text is readable.
Hope that helped

I have uninstalled EVE and found it is only happening with I press esc then select the graphics TAB option. All the text goes fuzy and stays like that. If I select any of the other TAB options, the text is still readable.
Any suggestions plz

Try the texel alignment slider.
Oh, and you don't need to reinstall, just delete the cache folder, if it's related to options.

How about printing the graphics options and texel slider text double size? That way the texel alignment won't affect it as much and it will still be readable whatever the setting. Just a thought...
