If we can have dynamic cruise control with a mercedes ...
Then why can't my ferox have it ? I want an approach that does not bump!

You should be able to do some A-level maths to work it out:
"I'm doing 100 m/s and I'm approaching an object doing 50 m/s. If I decelerate at 5 m/s, how far from the object should I start decelerating to match it's speed when I reach it?"
You could imagine in building a space station (IRL), when they link the modules together they have to do exactly this calculation
Unfortunately in eve, if you do that to each other, when both of you start decelerating, you will both have a change of speed registered, meaning the deceleration calculation will be done again. Your ship then reacts to that by changing speed thus triggering another re-calculation. And so you get caught in a nasty loop
At least I think that's why it wouldn't work. If someone wants to corredct me on the maths as well

Well..
I agree with what you ask for.. but...
Another answer would be, because the Humans race is a race that doesnt exist on EVE, and if existed, the Humans on EVE would be VERY specialized race on this type of speed control, and one of its big corporations Mercedez Bens Shipyards would have ships that would be able to do that perctely.. :)

Well, I see many suggestions on this forum to make EVE more realistic. ex. Planetary travel etc ... However nothing takes away from realism more then watching my ferox flip as if it has the mass of a matchbox car.
A compromise would be to give the ability to ram ships, this would introduce many other complications though
