i have used the probes to scan on many occasions but only in 0.0 player safe spots, and never seen agent mission book marks "widly" busted.
the only problem i can see is that you need at least one book mark "the other side" of the target , but this can prove hard as these missions book marks all over the place (ie, in no warpable line) some times up to 20au out.i have the skills to use the max range probes and hoping to get the "other side" of them using them.
so if i manage to find a way to bust these dude's and warp in to there dead space mission, am i aloud to use there missions stargate?,
thnx in adv

Mostly you wont catch mission runners, because they are "off plane".
While, for instance, 3 AU's have a 3 AU range, horizontally, They only have a vertical scan range of about 1/1.5AU. (Feel free to correct, I'm not sure)
So when going to drop some 3's out, for instance, pull off a 360 degree scan at 1.5Au first, to determine the likeliehood of a fresh catch. Real men Structure tank. |

they're not just off plane, you need to get your cov opps alt into the plex, and get the other side of the missioner so that when your main warps in and has to use the gate, they have a warp to point... the problem is, that you can't warp to another player within deadspace... which means unless the target is right next to the warp in point of the mission, he's gonna carry on doing his mission and laugh at you trying to get close enough fo him with your crummy AB.

It is extremely difficult to catch deadspace complexes but it can be done. You will have to go through the complex like your prey has done and you sometimes require passcodes or keys to get to other levels thus denying you your prey. MWD's are also useless making your ability to speedily tackle your target even more of a pain. The only real advantage is they will have killed most of the NPC's so they won't be too much - if any - bother. ======================= The Establishment is at your service...

once you have more and more book marks in a system i would imagine it getting easyer and easyer to track down these mission w***es.
all i need now is a good system and i will give it a whirle.
got any suggestions, ?, i can go and scout i supose, but would rather just ***** straight on, :-)

No, he meant that it's hard to find the person doing the mission, and thus they are "safe".
Depending on how far off the plane their mission is, you might be able to find their ship (but you can't find the acceleration gate itself, afaik).
Please fix the scan probes!!! |

i would asume it would be like a gang member warping to the person doing the mission,
ie it would drop you out right at the first gate,
i would think that is correct, but never tried it, will give it a whirl tonight, think i might have a good sytem to test this out in,

It's incredibly difficult but I've done it twice in weeks of trying.
The trick is to accept that you can never track down and catch a specific individual running a mission, but you have a chance of finding someone if you go into a high population low-sec system (yes a few exist) with lots of level 3 and 4 agents nearby.
Oh and it will cost you more in probes than anything you'll probably loot. And most of the mission instances you find will be empty because it takes longer to find them than to run most missions.
Still fun busting people who think they're untouchable in low sec.

That is not what I meant, I mean exactly what he said you can't probe deadpsace, but you can however probe a safespot mission, a mission with no acceleration gate

you can probe someone IN deadspace missions, and then warp to them
when you warp to them you end up at the first gate
it works
