Jack Sigma	Posted - 2006.04.04 13:38:00 - [1] Ok so I know there are a few threads about peeps having solo'd the last lev of this mission already, one from myself included. However as far as I can see they have all been in a faction BS usually a CNR. I completed this mission in a standard Raven today and wondered if many other peeps had been able to do this? At the end of all the NPC waves i was forced to redock to load up on more missiles to take out the stargate - you defo need the extra cargo space for cap booster charges whislt dealing with the NPC's. My set up: Ship: Raven Hi Slots: 6 Cruise II loaded with devastors & two smartbombs Mid Slots: Gist B XL SB, 3 x Invuln Field II, 1 Photon Scattering II, 1 Heavy Cap Booster with 800 charges (lots and lots) Lows: 3 x BCU II, 2 x PDS II
Nedolzna Ovcica	Posted - 2006.04.04 16:24:00 - [2] I also completed it in raven, but the last two spawns were too much to tank or take out, so i had to warp out and when i came back i focused fire only on the stargate (which had like 2% structure left) and warped out as soon as it poped.

The title is 'Level 5 Enemies Abound' because the Enemies Abound mission series come in 5 parts this being the last and widely recognised as most difficult. I think most peeps recognise that this is what i was referring to. And Mike Yagon, no i did not mean the '5th room' jeez

Brady	Posted - 2006.04.05 07:29:00 - [7] umm, I'd suggest you remove that third invulner, and put a shield boost amp on. The stacking penalty is ok for two mods that affect the same attribute, but the third has a massive penalty. Personally I'd remove two of the invulners, fit one amp and a painter, or two amps. Two modules affecting the same attrib are ok, but never use three. You have four affecting EM damage. You get approx 55% boost from two shield boost amps (standard ones).
Finraer	Posted - 2006.04.05 11:55:00 - [8] Yep - I did it a couple of times in a Cerberus with the following setup: 5 Heavy Launcher IIs 1 Tractor Beam 1 Dread med booster 1 Dread booster amp 1 Invuln II 1 Large cap battery 1 10MN AB II 2 BCS II (actually, might have been a domination and a BCS II for fitting but the same stats) 2 PDS II Easy enough to do if you tank damage in a missile boat and attack from range. I did it a couple of times to prove to myself that I could do it however, these days I reject 5 of 5 because the rewards, while good, don't compare well, in my experience, with the time to complete the mission. Nos Med: 1xXL C5-L, 1x small Gistii A Booster, 1x Gist B Exp, 1x Gist B Kin, 1x Dread Invul, 1x Gist X Sb Amp Lo: 4x PDU II's, 1x Domination BCU warrior drones as diversion, going with all the torps for the gate right from the very start, while moving straight away from it until max targeting distance - 93 clicks. I easily survive until the freedom freaks show up at >100km, the gate is long gone till then, thats when I leave the scene. Packing 2000 torps should be well enough.

How in hell are we supposed to know what level you're doing? there's a level 1 Enemies Abound, in 5 parts; a level 2 version, also in 5 parts; a level 3, and a level 4. All you told us was "level 5." That's not helpful. Well, it appears that enemies abound is ONLY a lvl4 mission set. So he was expectin us to apply common sence. Still, Difficulty wise, this is pretty much what I would expect for a genuine lvl5 mission --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE
