Looking to either buy a Hulk at a pretty fair price, or a bpc...

I'm currently selling Hulks for 450mil, pickup in Foves.
I doubt very much that you will find any bpc as it takes over twice as long to make a bpc as it does to build the ship. It just isn't profitable unless you are willing to pay twice as much for a bpc which is unlikely.

i am willing to pay for the ship, just not through the nose...

Well unfortunately, there are still a LOT of people willing to pay through the nose for a hulk, so....either open yer wallet or sit back and wait a few months.

uh... why would someone sell you one for much less than market price?
and if someone intends to, tell them i'll pay 10mil more for it then resell it on the market

because I'm not willing to pay them 500-700 million for a ship that cost them 50 to make. I'll give them a price that will give them plenty of profit. They can either take my money now, or I will wait... I'm just hoping someone is willing to be reasonable today...

Fair price is market price buddy. If you're looking to get it for 100-200m less then it's market value then you might as well be asking some random people to give you 100-200m. If you're not willing to pay market value then you're up for a long wait - because you don't think it's "fair" to charge what it's worth.
Do you know how much a hulk bpo costs? Do you know how long it takes to make one? You're a miner, I bet you've done calculations often enough to estimate your profit - do a calc on this based on the bpo cost and see if it's "fair".
in the T1 market, sellers charge you for the cost of the minerals, time, and bpo cost. Well most t1 ships take an hour or so to produce, the bpo's cost under 50m most the time and the price is usually a little higher then the mineral cost.
T2 ships take over a day and sometimes a lot longer to produce and the bpo's cost 10-30 billion. While the materials to build it may not cost that much compared to the market value of the ship, I hope you realize that you're NOT PAYING FOR THE MINERAL PRICE. You're paying for BPO price and the time to produce it.
God I hate it when people whine about the T2 ship prices, their ignorance is astounding.

just cuz it's market price, doesn't make it a fair price buddy. I know it takes a lot. But tell me, the people who won the bpo, they didn't pay 30 bil for it...

So if I have understand this correctly, there won't be any bpc's on the market for a Hulk because the prices for a built Hulk will allways be higher than the price far a bpc, and it only takes half the time to build it than to copy a blueprint. Am I right?

pretty much...just worse...
It takes 26 hours to build one,,, it takes like 5+ days to make a BPC. Since they are selling for uber isk it would cost an BPO owner too much in opportunity cost to make any copies.

That is exactly right. That is why if you look around, and know how to ask, you can get one for 100-200 mil isk.
